got this call at 0300 hours ......does anyone know who this is?

I got the same call - Toronto's winner of the day, at 12:52 AM!! . Just for fun I went to the web site the text indicated (the domain was "won2day.com"  and it was routed to "findbestdailydeals.com" automatically.

Just received a text at 12:30AM from this number "Congratulations, you are the WINNER OF THE DAY! go to http://www.won2day.com to claim your prize. You have 24 hours to claim!"

This company needs to be shut down.

I was redirected to electronicssavingsoutlet.net - I searched for their whois info -

how the heck did they get my number?????  pretty sure i submitted my number to a no call list

Mine was an email " free airline tickets" . When opened to start a claim and read the details " terms and conditions" and " privacy policy" I learned it's a market survey data acquisition site. It gets data from you and sells it to other marketers and advertisers - good money in that. However, the " free gift", iPads, Dell laptop etc.,  may require purchases of things first inevitably. Not a total scam as I can see but might be. It is trawling for new business and will sell your email address and general info to others while quarterbacking a purchase you make with a freebie gift. Your choice.
