716-650-5587

I keep getting calls from this number and no message is left???????

I recd a call on my cell phone from 716-650-5587. According to my research, this # belongs
to Niagra Acquisitions.  I do not know why they called me and I never heard of them.

This phone # called me 3 times, 1st 2 times, left no message, then 3rd call identified themselves
as Niagra Acquisitions re a claim #. I do not know who they got my cell phone # or who they are.
Never heard of them. If anyone knows who they are, please post.

They are a 3rd party debt collector.  Niagra Acquisitions.  The address on their web site is a UPS Store location in Lockport, NY.  The local phone # is a nonpublished landline in Williamsville, NY.  Don't give them any information.  They left a message on my cell phone (not sure how they got the #) saying they had a case against me for writting bad checks.  That was a lie.  When I called to ask what they were talking about they told me they must have been looking at the wrong file.  If they ask you about an old credit card debt (even accounts that have been charged off), tell them to send you proof from the original creditor via mail.  Do not volunteer your address info.  Tell them they should already have it if the debt is legitimate.
