A person who gave his name as "Mike Fisher" left a message on cell phone stating that he had an affidavit on his desk concerning the fraudulent use of a credit card, but no other details.  Fraudulent use of a credit card, I am sure, is a criminal matter in every state and, as a criminal matter, certain procedures are mandated.   Calling from Buffalo, New York, to a cell phone in Arkansas, is, I'm sure, contrary to Rules of Civil and Criminal Procedure.

He stated I got a loan from a place in which I didn't pay the funds back. And I know I did. He had all of the bank information as well as started calling my work phone back to back when I disconnected the call. I am sure this is harassment. They stated I would have to pay 500.00 in order to not go to court. And that I would have to give a credit card in order to make these payments. I don't believe this is legal. I didn't give my credit card info but she stated if I didn't they would garnish my wages.

Aslo got a call from mike fisher said had legal paper work and info in reg to my name and ssn all on my voicemail.. i called back and spoke to the secretary, it ended up being a loan that was take out by my ex husband over 2 yrs ago. i sent in a police report and that was the end of it! their office was in nys and im in Cali. so i dont see how that makes a difference?
