A woman was very rude. Threatened to take us to court, and said we own $10,000. It is a collection agency, but they use very duty tactics threatening  you.  Don't answer this call!!!

Had a problem with these people a few months ago--they called constantly.  After some Internet searching, discovered that the number belongs to National Action Financial Services (NAFS), 165 Lawrence Bell Drive, Suite 100, Williamsville, NY  14221.  Wrote them a letter (certified, return receipt requested) demanding that they stop calling, citing the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  Informed them that if they need to tell me anything, to do so by US mail only.  The letter worked; haven't heard from them since then.  

The first time they called were looking for a relative. I told them I would deliver message. called back 3 times. Finally called them back and told them to quit calling. He said he could continue to call me as long as this was only number. My number is a business.  This is harassment. I am looking to do as the previous person did or more if it doesnt quit. They are hateful and rude people.

This place has been calling my wife for 2 months saying she owed on an old Discover card. When they give the last 4 digits of the SS# they don't match her's and she has confirmed that with them on more than one ocassion. Each time they told her she would be removed from the list.....since I am writing this message you can guess accurately they have not. I have to assume this is a scam.

These people have been calling me for the past three weeks and all I get are threats and very discusting attitudes. They claim I owe on my dicover card and even though I offer them proof of payment they actually told me to shut up and listen, "WE DON'T CARE". this is what you owe and you must pay.I gave them my son's cell number so that they could discuss this with him, and even though he had explained to not trouble me as I am an elderly (83 years young) my son has told me how profanity is their way of trying to intimidate, and then they laugh!!!!Folks, take it from me, SOMEONE WITH A BAD ATTITUDED IS GOING TO GO POSTAL ON THESE POEPLE. They are a bunch of jerks.

I have been getting calls from this number for the past three weeks from early in the morning to evening hours. They also call early on Saturday mornings as well as during the course of the day.
I do not know who they are and would like to have them stop calling me.  Sometimes they call one call right after the other.

I am being harresed on the telephone six days a week, Monday through Saturday all hours and I do not know who they are.

They call all day long. everyday

716-650-6240 machine calls our house at least once a day, says it is a company called Daniel Lynch debt collection and says that there will be an ominous final decision made because they've been calling for a month .... they give an 800-257-9303 number to respond to, which I did, and the person said his name was Pat McGregor and wouldn't give me any information.  He wanted information from me, and would not give me a business name or further contact information.

Caller ID says Unknown Name.

It was a partial message from a very rude, condescending male voice. It said something about "This matter is STILL not resolved. You need to be aware that it's being documented each time you refuse to return our calls. You NEED to call my office. Today. 866-265-5287."

I was instantly raging. The idea that someone I don't even know would call & demand that I do ANYTHING they tell me to just lit me up! I called the number on the caller ID & got a voicemail which I most happily spoke to & informed it of my name & phone number & that I would like an explaination of who they are & what they think someone in this house owes to WHOM. As far as we know we don't owe anyone squat!  

I then tried the 866 number & got "Mary", a charming thing with such a lovely attitude. One that could make me easily forget that I'm now a grown up & a mom & I now have more dignity than to brawl with a total stranger!!!  :o)~

She answered the phone with, "Hello." I said Hi & asked if this was a residential phone. She said No, that it was a business & who was I. I told her there was a very rude message on my phone that left this number to call back. She again said, "Well, What's your name & what's your number?" I found her very rude & unprofessional as well & told her I'd like to know who I'm giving my info to first. she said, "Fine, ya don't tell me who ya are, I'm just gonna keep calling you." & Hung up! Now, if she really didn't know who I was, how would she be able to "just keep calling me???" I know the hag knew exactly where I'm calling from. I know they have caller ID.

A message was left on the machine saying that due to the nature of the subject they cannot leave specific information on a machine.  The message was electronically looped; I had to actually stop my machine from recording.

I am very glad that I looked this number up as well.  What a bunch of BS. I will not be calling back this number.

I keep getting phone calls from these people. They never say who they are calling for just leave threatening phone messages. As this is a business, I refuse to answer and it is very disconceting. Who are these people anyway that they can just call anyone at random????

A recorded threatening phone call from 716 650 6240 regarding a "debt [they] had been trying to collect for the past month," alleging I had "ignored [their] phone calls."  An 800 number given too quickly for me to grab paper and write down, and an attempt to intimidate with a promise of "final judgement" today at 5pm.  The recording did not finish before it was cutoff.

I returned the call to the phone number shown up in caller ID.  After several transfers, I was finally told "we must have a wrong number."  Mind you, I was told this before I had provided any sort of identification.  At this point, I was perfunctorily hung up on, with no apology.

I have reported them to my cellular phone company.  If this is repeated I will contact the police.

Daily pre-recorded messages left on my cell phone.  I can't imagine what dept they could be collecting on using my cell phone number seeing as I don't give out my cell phone number on any applications.  Almost nobody knows my cell phone number.  The're just fishing for people they can rip off.

The past two weeks I have received URGENT phone calls from this number with a 1-800-929-0484 call back number. I called the number on my caller id (1 716 650 6240 )and informed Tiffiney that she had the wrong party but the call keep coming. My husband and I are senior citizen and these calls are very stressful.

Folks:  I've been getting calls from THEM (716-650-6240)for months now, verified by Caller ID (one to three calls per day, if my answering machine picks up; and six times per day, if I turn my answering machine... off). Same sick'o coward RECORDED MESSAGE, threatening filth, don't say who THEY are calling... don't say why THEY are calling, as already posted . DoNotCallList Complaints only work, if we all... file complaints. If THEY call six times a day, file complaints six times a day. It takes 31 days after registering with the DoNotCallList for you to be allowed... to file a complaint. Then,(if you feel violated, as I have)... file complaints, over & over, each time THEY call again and threaten... you & violate... your privacy. The fines may very well escalate, when THEY continue to call us. I have personally filed over a hundred complaints, and will continue to do so. Let's make them 10,000's. Squeakey wheel... THEM, until the FED's finaly... take action, and start the penalty process. The DoNotCallList operates off of number... of complaints, not just who you are. So let's... all make the DoNotCallList system finally work this time! I just recieved a call from them and it sounded like a recording telling me to call back on this 800 number and then it hung up.  I was unable to write the number down fast enough.  When I called the caller id number back it sound like the voice of a cell phone carrier.
