Called and left a threatening message. "Don't ignore us or you'll get a callback and be in a big mess"

Got call saying i will find out what it about in 24 hrs when law enforcement comes to oick me up

Got a call saying I was in trouble and needed my attorney to call them asap!

I recieved a call saying actions have been taken against me and I needed to get a lawyer

left a partially cut off voicemail(bad wording and all): "...calling you in regards to some enforcement actions that have been started against your name my number is 716-777-3994 I repeat it's 716-777-3994 if for any reason you are busy to call back I would strongly suggest you have your retained attorney do it for you as delaying to call us could result in a legal mess for you."

Left partial cut of message stating that if i tried to call back without retaining an attorney that i will be in a legal mess. The caller was from 716-777-3994

I got a call from 716-777-3994 say I needed to call them they highly suggest me to have my attorney to call

Same message left for me as the one's stated above.

The same Message I just Receive earlier Today, since I don't answer my Phone very often because  I suffer from Deep Depression, they left this Stupid Message.  I just wonder,  under which Grounds they gonna Harm me, I live a Very Straight Life, No Drugs, No Monkey Business here.  They will waste their Time by Threatening me.

They left a threatening message.  This is the message left on my voice mail:

Just another  US Treasury/IRS scam coming out of India and Pakistan.  Block and ignore the calls.

Total scam.  Originates in either India or Pakistan.   Block and ignore.   DO NOT RETURN THE CALL!

I’m an Enrolled Agent with the IRS (Inactive). IRS does not initiate contacts by phone.  US mail only.   IRS does not file lawsuits.  IRS has enough administrative authority under the IRS Code and related regulations to collect all taxes lawfully due the federal government.     Court action, if any is handled by the DOJ and all parties are entitled to legal assistance if it is a criminal matter.  But--tax disputes are for the most part civil matters.  90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively.  IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes. IRS does not threaten to involve local law enforcement or to arrest you for nonpayment of federal taxes.  IRS has no powers of arrest as related to ordinary tax disputes.  Having a deficiency in taxes owed by way of audit is NOT a crime.  IRS does not cold call anyone and demand immediate payment of  money.  IRS does not ask for financial information over the phone.   IRS does not accept Green card money paks or Itunes cards or similar for payment in any case.  No one is prosecuted for ordinary tax disputes. IRS has absolutely no authority over anyone's professional license. Professional licensing is handled by state governments.  Yes, levies on property to satisfy an existing tax obligation do occur, but only after a very long period of negotiation. And yes, liens are placed on individuals but  usually after a lot of negotiation and a failure to reach a settlement.   All determinations of tax liability are subject to appeals.  All  contacts by the IRS are initiated by US mail.

Another threatening message-strongly suggesting I "retain a lawyer" and ditto on above post. BLOCK this number.  Obviously another sicko.

Ditto!! I recieved the same exact message. What a scam. Something should do about this.

. "Brian King from the Dept of Legal Affairs" is a bulls hit name & credential. It's a bogus call designed to scare your bank account or payment information out of you. Don't worry about it

I received a text message saying I was approved for a  $5000 dollar loan.

I picked up the phone and said 'hello' -- there was a delay of a couple of seconds, then I heard a click and a man using a stern voice said "listen to me very carefully..." --- I hung up. jerks -

A badly recorded message stated that they have been trying to contact me for the past six months.  It went on to say that my family has committed tax fraud and a lawsuit has been filed against us. No other information about this so called tax fraud or lawsuit was given and they never said who they were.  I was instructed to call them immediately, which I didn't do.  This number has been calling me multiple times a day.
