They have been robo calling me every week. Reporting them. I'm on do not call list. Idiots.

This is a scam. They claim to be an express delivery service looking to deliver my "medical alert system." Once they got that far I cut them off and to them that I was well aware of their scam and if they called again I would complain them to the AG's office for NYState. I have read of this scam being perpetrated on older citizens ( I'm a healthy 64 year old). They claim a family member ordered it for you as a gift and out of concern for your safety when alone.  To accept delivery they need a modest payment on your credit card and you have to sign for the delivery. Later you realize that you have committed to a monthly payment for the device plus all sorts of accessories....there are variations on this scam.
This scam has been rampant in the south and they are supposed to be out of business long ago.
Makes me mad that they target people who are vulnerable.

So am I. But they keep calling. And I forgot to add above....the voice is the most human sounding robot yet.....I cut the guy off but forgot I was talking to a computer.

I just got this call,again, this evening.  This time the last two digits were 28.  Last two times they were 27 and one time it was a very long number that started with a vz.  It is getting old and I too am on the do not call list

i have gotten this robocall dozens of times on my office phone.   very irritating.

They had called my house regarding a "medical alert system" that my husband had supposedly won.
Right away I knew it was a scam. My husband didn't order any system so why do they have to lie about it!
Now I just leave my answering machine on and answer phone numbers with area codes that are familiar!!!
I am not wasting time with these jerks with these obvious fabricated lies to get you to buy their product or the EXPENSIVE ACCESSORIES that go with it! Don't fall for their B.S. line!  Plus, I am on the "do not call" registry. A lot of good that does?

I know it's a scam but I don't know how to stop their calls.

Guess I'm in the same boat as the rest of these folks. Have gotten at least 3 calls from these scammers. Didn't realize it was a robot on the other end. Guess I wasted the profanity I used on it, LOL.

Got the same call tonight. I didn't realize it was a recording until I tried to interrupt the guy and he kept talking. I've been getting so many scam calls lately, I don't know what to do. I'm already in the do not call list! Let's all call them back 716-817-8528 lol!!!

Received a call from 716-817-8528 claiming they have a delivery..
They must somehow be monitoring vendor purchases.
If you try calling the number you get a busy or message that it's not a working number.
Another scam. Wish there were a way to catch and prosecute.

I am sick of these medical alert calls and the shipping dept from medical alert. They keep changing their numbers.  I have had at least 50 calls of this nature and keep blocking numbers but I have a limited number of calls I can block then Verizon charges me.  Latest number from 716-817-8528.
They are all scams and I cannot keep blocking different numbers from the same people.
Who do I report them to?  I am also on the do not call list.

You can report them to the DNC list, the FTC and your State's Attorney General. Two of the companies behind this scam are being sued by the real Life Alert company for trademark infringement and damage to their reputation and some states are as well.  You can also look up the address for your local police department and next time they call press "1" to schedule delivery and give the police department address.  If they want a credit card tell them you will can only pay by check and will not do any electronic funds transfer.  Just keep wasting their time when they call if you are up for it.

Two calls today.  I finally called FTC to report.  Their number to report these calls to or any others from these scam artists is 1-877-382-4357

I keep getting this Robo Call offering me a free "scooter" which will be totally paid by Medicare...I've tried to tell them not to call but they just play their recorded message and no one listens.

they are at it again!  Now it's 716 817 8528.  incredible that this is permitted!

They call me too,,,I was in a business meeting and when I tried to return the call later it was not going through.  I became suspicious as I donot know this number
