Scam call.  Reported. I question the value of the do not call registry.

Addendum to above:  this is the number for Pioneer Credit Recovery of Buffalo, NY.  It has been suggested to us to have these callers call the number of our local law enforcement.

For those of you who want an intelligent solution to this problem:

They call several times a day from different numbers.  Harassment and reported.  Pioneer Credit Recovery, Horseheads, NY is a subsidiary of Navient (formerly Sallie Mae), a student loan giant.  They have been accused by U. S. Senators of using abusive and illegal collection tactics, and acting in violation of the federal tax code.  Pioneer was also dropped as a student loan collector in 2015 for misleading loanees.  In 2017 Pioneer and Navient were sued by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
