I just got a phone call fromt his number. They are threatening to take me to court for a bill I dont even know about. But they can't provide me with a copy of the bill. Please!

I just received a vm message from a gentleman saying a summons was to be delivered for me at my place of work or home by October 8. The call did NOT register on my caller ID. He had my full name AND the lasts 4 digits of my social security number. He gave me this number (716-898-0882) to call by 5pm Eastern time tomorrow. He also gave me a reference number and the name of the "company" American Check Services". I called the number..after listening and confirming the number at least 6 times...and the number is not in service.??????????? NICE! What is this? Is this some type of scam?

I just received a call from a gentleman named Scott Fitzgerald.  He informed me there will be a summons delivered to my work today (11/11/10).  I asked him who he was with and all he could tell me was a private company located on Johnson Drive.  I asked him what state he was in and he kept acting like he couldn't hear me (like it was cell reception).  I could hear him clearly and he hung up.  He gave me 716-898-0882 and 888-339-6414 to call and put a stop hold on the summons.  I called both numbers and it said American Check Services.
