They call to say they are from the national treasury and their is a warrant out for my arrest.

I have an outstanding debt. Warrant is out for my arrest.

1.Debt is civil - no arrest will happen.
2.The caller is a THIEF & has nothing to do with government.
3. IF there really was a warrant, you would not be warned.

Got a call from this number and their voicemail stated his name was John Edwards with a very strong accent, said he was with Dept of Legal Affairs and suggested my lawyer call them back or I will be facing legal trouble.  I call B.S.

Got a call 7/26, 1:52 pm, Pacific. This is the US Treasury and there is a warrant out for me, they need some additional information about me. They said I could call back and ask for the "official" Kit Marshal, but could not tell me what their Treasury job title was. Strong Southeast Asia accent, lots of noise on the line. Assume fraud trying to get personal info or money from me but I hung up.

Got a call telling me I am involved in legal matters with the US Treasury Dept I said that I got no notification yet and could I have a call back number. They gave the same number. I asked for a toll free number they said they did not have one. I then said nice try, and I would call them back from the state police office who can deal with this. I heard click, they hung up.

Hey said some enforcement action is going to be taken against me. It's [***] they don't call you like that. I've had 30 years experience with US government and believe me if you had a problem you would have 10 notices in your mailbox & uyour bank account gets frozen so it doesn't happen like that

I received the same msg. When I called and told him it was a scam, he said he was sending someone out right away to arrest me and then hung up.  What a joke!
