Some male who refused to tell me where he was from because they were restricted by the Federal Government to give the information called me from this number on April 25, 2023.  He gave me an acronym of an organization and refused to identify it. He wanted some information and I told him that I am protected by the federal government from giving him information he was not privy to. I told him I was ending the conversation and hung up. What a dirtbag!

Abusive disrespectful man. Refuses to identify himself but demands your information. Scam likely. If he was any sort of fed, he has to identify if asked. Yet refuses. This dude is a complete scum bag. Tries to insult you when you don't stand for his bs.

This just happened to me he was SO rude all because I didn’t wanna give my birth date in my Social Security number. Like I hate to break it to people, but even if you are a collection company, I know it sucks but you have to identify yourself like what the [***] I feel like people just get information from sites and they know you have collections or other things so they try to imitate them so that you give them information to pay them.

I received a call from some from Commercial Acceptance Company, but came across my phone as SPAM so I did not answer. Received a message, but they went on to call my elderly parents cellphone.  Not just one parent but both of my parents. I paid an ambulance bill several weeks ago and they were trying to collect. Advised was paid, but totally unacceptable to contact my elderly parent nor anyone else because our last names matched!

Caller left vm asking for information on a minor child. Will not be returning call especially after reading these reviews. So thank you!

Same as the other comments... arrogant had ... "this number is associated... " tried to sound OFFICIAL... gave no ID besides his "name"... business matter he claimed

Yeah I just got the same call... anyone e have any follow up? He called my mom and then as a complete jerk to me. I have no plans on sharing personal information. Of it was a true collection they would have my info... right?

They are a debt collector located in PA.  They must by law verify that they are talking to the alleged debtor before discussing the debt and yes, they already have your info.

He tried the same BS with me.

Mark Evans called asking for my sister but refusing to give information. He was very rude and asked if I have contact with her. When I asked what the call was about he claimed he cannot give info to anyone besides my sister and their spouse. I told him I have no way to contact her and he was very rude and hung up. It must either be a scam or rude credit bureau. Disgusting!

Got a voicemail from Mark Evans with Commercial Acceptance company. Googled the company and it's a Debt Collector. I know who I owe money to-for a car payment and 1 credit card. SCAM SCAM SCAM. BTW he sounded like a jerk just from the voicemail.
