This number keeps calling.   Who are they?    " Dir Assistance  Pa " shows in caller id field.

i keep getting same thing several times a day even tho I told them I was on the do not call list

I ilve in a southern state and have gotten calls from this person supposedly advertising a security company. I have gotten the same call from a number in AL. But the arrogant attitude of the man that called today tells me he also called using another scam with a fake 800 number. He thinks his computer technology is protecting him, but the more he calls the same number with different scams the closer he gets to being caught. He says he is not breaking the do not call list because he is not selling anything, but that only means he is doing something illegal.

How is this page going to help. There are millions of these post and the Scammers are still going strong. You can call your phone company,and they don't even know where the call comes from. But if You do something Wrong the Police are at Your door. Why because they can trace Your Number. How Conveniet.

Got another call today. Told them not to call again. That I reported them and a woman said you don't even know me and hung up.

just got one from this number and caller id says directory asst PA.  I just let it ring. If I don't know the number I just let voice mail get it. I never answer......

Because the number is spoofed.
