got a call from this number and was told when asked who it was , The Publisher

This # calls me 2-3 times a day and when I answer it shortly disconnects. This needs to stop or I'm going to the office in Carlisle, PA and putting a stop to it there.

This number calls me every half hour and pretends to be a offical thats coming to my house!
When does this end they dont take no for an answer this is ludacris to put up with this!

Received call, no Caller ID so I didn't answer.  No message left.  Here's a bit of info.  If your number gets placed on a phone list, for whatever reason, your number is distributed to anyone who purchases that call list.  There could be a hundred people with that list and they don't know (or don't care) that your number is on the Do Not Call register.  So, there is no one particular person soliciting your number.  Once on a List Broker's data base it's damn near impossible to get your number removed since numerous Brokers may be selling your number also.

They say they are with publishers and you are a preferred customer. if you do something online they will call you because you were "opted into great promotional items". Tried giving me a magazine subscription. They called several times a day with no messages left. I finally answered and told them I wasn't interested and I am on the do not call list. We shall see.
