I called this number back and an answering device identified it as being Direct Buy of Chesapeake.

This is the second time they called and no one answers. I have since blocked the number. My caller ID says it's Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

This number called my dads home phone and I called it from my cell and it said direct buy of Chesapeake and all agents were busy

This number called my home, the individual asked for a Mr or Mrs. ----- Well, there is NO MR. here, so I asked who it was and where she was calling from, after asking her several times, the caller refused to tell where she was calling me from, unless she was speaking to a MR. OR MRS. ---- and then said, I'll call back at a later time and disconnected the call. Thanks to caller ID, I called back and received a message from a lady who stumbled over her words indicating it was DIRECT BUY OF CHESAPEAKE.... Well chic don't bother because I have your number marked and will not answer any calls from that number. If this was a true legitimate company, she would have told me the companies name and not question me indicating she could only speak to the MR or MRS. ------. The scariest part is she knew my last name...

I received the first call from this number at 8:52 p.m. and they asked for either Mr. or Mrs. _____. I didn't confirm they had the write name but first asked who was calling. They asked if I was Mrs. _____ and I asked again who they were and where they were calling from. The man proceeded to tell me that he can't legally tell me who he is or where he's calling from unless he is speaking to Mr. or Mrs. _____. I told him good-bye. There is no legitimate company that won't identify themselves nor do they call this late at night. I noticed on my caller ID the next day that this number called again at 2:07pm. They didn't leave a message.

yes i to just got the call and floored them with the name of another caller that keeps doing the same thing calling then hanging up .. am tired of it and ready to take action .. HARASMENT IS AGAINST THE LAW

I have gotten frequent calls from this number sometimes two in a row.  I do not answer when it comes up on my caller ID because they do not identify themselves.

I do not answer my phone unless I know who is calling.  There is no caller ID wit this number.  I know I am tired of them calling and if it keeps up I am going to report them for harrasment to the phone company/

Called 540p, 640p, 740p, & 840p. Why did I sign up for the do not call list?

If you want to report these calls to the Do Not Call, it is helpful to try to gather as much information as you can from the caller.  This number called and offered a home interior makeover, saying they were By Design.
