call from 718-569-6648 Jason (with a very strong Indian accent) left a very threatening message about legal action.  Told me I must call back.   Did attempt but line has been busy for hours.

I just received a call from 718-569-6648 Jason (with a very strong Indian accent) left a very threatening message about legal action as well.  Is this a scam?  I have not called back.

Recieved very threatening phone calll from this number from a guy I could hardly understand, saying I owed the Irs 4,000, and they were starting legal actions against me cause I refused to respond to letterz from the IRS, and I must obtain a lawyer cause I was going to jail.

This is a total SCAM.  I got the same moron with a strong Indian accent that others have mentioned saying that legal action was being taken against "Maggie .......".  Maggie is an alias I use when I don't want my real name being used......including here.   I'm  taking a guess here:  I got an online quote for car insurance.  Ever since then,  I've been getting all kinds of garbage calls , emails, and snail mail.  Crappy online companies sell & rent mail lists to unethical people and companies doing this!   Next time I'll just call around the old fashioned way.

Received a call from Ryan Coleman from IRS stating I owe IRS 4,786.21 and it's been turned over to the States Attorney Office.  If I don't pay I will be picked up and serve 60 days in jail.

That's the same thing they said to me a few minutes ago and the person was name Ryan Coleman. The amount stated to me was 4786.21. It was for the year 2013.

I owe a debt to IRS for the year 2013 in the amount of 4,786.21 and if I do not pay I will be picked up and serve 60 days in jail. He stated his name was Ryan Coleman with a Indian accent.  Asked who did my taxes for me in 2013 and they completed them wrong.  I stated I wasn't  employed and he hung up. He stated case was turned over to state attorney before hanging up

This number said I was being sued by legal affairs, by a man not well spoken. That I needed a lawyer to settle this issue & to call them back to settle this matter. But if you look up the number that called it is a moving company in New York, NY

Jake Lewis called saying I owe back taxes and they were from the IRS US TREASURY
