This person contacts our office on a daily basis and is extremely rude.  He is a salesman and shouldnt be allowed to harass business offices!!

The salesman's name is Christian Forsythe. He's trying to sell high interest loans for business capital.

Called and said it was about State Board of Equalization Filing. Good to see its not really a government agency just a sales call. thnx

The guy's name is John Whalen, claims he is with the Phoenix Group in Broomfield, Colorado.  Very aggressive.  Told him twice not to stop calling and he called right back.

Bugging my staff to reach me about a company I was once a part of and that is no longer in business

Name is Chris Forsyth, number is 719.219.8422.  Claims we have a lien against our business and wants several thousand to ratify the matter. We have nothing against our business. So, I'm guessing It's a slimy lawyer randomly calling businesses trying to extort money out of them.

This person id'd himself as Chris Forsight of "Enrolled Agents" wanting to talk about withholding payroll taxes!  sheesh and # used is 719-219-8422

His name was Chris Forsyth. Was calling to speak to me about withholdings. How is this not illegal to do?

Message on answering machine wanting to speak to me about withholdings saying it was a follow up call, but I might not remember him. However, I haven't had any employees for over four years. Caller's name was Mike Sinclair, but when I returned call, it went to voice mail of Chris Forsythe.  Smells rotten.

Serious tax scammers.  See:  720-457-2761,  800notes.  Calls from a variety of numbers. So far as I can see, they are not attorneys ,  nor are they Enrolled Agents. Basically they search the public records for existing recorded tax liens, and then cold call the taxpayer .  Try to sell services.  They have a history of not taking “No” for an answer.  Some of their agents will assert they are with the IRS.  Other times they will say they are Enrolled Agents.  A very rude crew.   Will call repetitively if you blow them off.

It's clearly a bad business practice.  This group cold calls people and tries to sell services by using the magic word "IRS" to try to scare people into buying their services.  So far as I can figure out, they are not Tax Attorneys, CPAs or Enrolled Agents.  Ignore the calls and block them.  These people are extremely aggressive.  If the callers claim to be any, demand their state or IRS number.  Of course they won't be able to give it to you.  Clearly a scammery-scummery outfit.

A lady who identified herself as Kathleen Delagarza called the business I work for asking to speak with the owner regarding federal tax withholdings. She even asked for the owners cell phone number. The number she gave me to have someone call her back was this number 719-219-8422

Called our business today identifying themselves and Manuel Trehill (must have changed their name...lol).  Says its the last phone call to attempt to follow up on federal withholdings.  IRS will never call you, so this is clearly a bunch of scammers.

Manuel left a message about a "federal tax matter." It was so clearly a scam that I didn't bother to pick up the phone. He warned that it will be his "final attempt" to contact me (if only!).
