They are telemarketers. They said I won something... so just spam...

Weird....local telemarketers?! Awful. I have rec'd calls from this number, never leave voicemails.

WCSA subscribers is what the recording told me when I called them back. Stating I won some money and they got my number from something i subscribed to..... SCAM!

It's a tax resolution firm...really nice lady she sent me an outline of how they can help me...sounds legit to me I even called the References they sent me. Everyone said great things.

Do you think you are an experienced shill, or are you just a very immature kid who likes to mess up things, and tries to get recognition by posting misinformation in various HELP sites?

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

Oh and your personal attacks on a complete stranger are very mature...not saying people shouldn't be careful but there are some good people out there that help as well....I was simply sharing my experience since I too was curios about the calls from this number.

Voice message from Valerie Macmillan.   Didn't identify her company (red flag).   Only stated that she wanted to speak to me regarding a fax filing.  Did NOT say she was with the IRS.   NEVER mentions EXACTLY her purpose or business need to speak with me (red flag). . . . so, I'm not calling her back because she is obviously trying to drum up business.  It's called telemarketing.

Same here . Some Valerie Macmillan left a message regarding my federal tax filing... I know I have no issues with my tax filing so why would anyone call.. Googled the number right away and found this site. Thanks guys!

Call from Malory / Valerie McMillan regarding Federal Withholding. Numerous calls per week. No company name given

Valeria McMillan called regarding a Form 941 Payroll Withholding issue with the government.  This is a scam.  Bad practice to drum up business for their company.  Caller ID showed: "Unknown"

Same issue, some lady named Valerie saying it would be very beneficial for me to contact her regarding a federal tax withholding. So relived to find this page and know it was a scam. Happened to my cousin 3 months ago and she almost sent someone 3k before she realized what was going on.

Called numerous times with the same BS I am reading about here....so glad I know to check these crazy calls out, especially when they do not like to give a company name. However they did spout the same BS about quarterly taxes and what not!

Called our Business office wanting to speak to person that handles our payroll taxes regarding a 941 filing , we told her that we have a payroll company that handles that, she then asked for business owner would not lv a message other than to have owner contact her
