It's Ford credit...same story...calling my cell # to track down my brother. Supposedly, I was given as a reference...just a scheme to get a hold of my brother

Got a call tonight from someone who asked for me by name. I required her to identify herself to me and she said "this is Debbie, OK? Do you know (names my brother)?" I said "No, that is not OK, I do not know a Debbie, you have not identified yourself to my satisfaction, you are nothing but a voice on the phone to me, I don't give out information to strangers. You called me. I'll ask the questions now, and you will either answer them or get off my phone."  She would not identify herself fully, She would not cooperate, I had to hang up. No wonder how identity theft happens so rampantly these days when people will freely give away personal private information to anyone who rings their phone.

I didnt answer the call as I dont know the number, and they DID leave me a message BUT.......it was a long silence, and then I heard a little noise before they hung up, but they were just sitting there quiet so.

Weeks after moving into this house i started receiving phone calls for the person that lived here before. they found a phone number that belongs to this address. I have told them many times i do not know the person they are looking for, but they still keep calling. it's been 9 months now and the calls keep coming.

They called looking for my wife's EX. I gladly offered up everything I could find, including where he is hiding the car.  F that guy.

Got a call asking to verify a residence.  They gave me a name and said it was a neighbor.  Said I had never heard of them...they asked if I had seen a black ford focus...I don't recall seeing one.  I guess I'm oblivious.  They thanked me and hung up.

They called me last week and left a message about someone I have never heard of and never told me where they were calling from.  Then they just called me again, no message.

Called 3/10 twice in a row. No one on the line the 1st time I answered.  Second time, rep said it was a "courtesy call" from Ford Credit looking for a relative of mine.

Didn't leave a message. I don't have any loans with FMC.

Called me today left a voicemail stating they are Liana from ford credit. To call back and speak with her or her colleague urgently. I have been getting calls from random numbers all pretending to be ford credit. I block it and they use a different number. It's so annoying.

They asked about a person that supposedly lived with me at my former home.  I had no idea who the person was, I had neither purchased my home or sold to this person.

I believe that this is a scam phone call to get information from you. I do not own a Ford, have never used Ford credit, and don't know anybody who does.

I let this call go to my answering machine, but they did not leave a message.  Not legit company, if they don't leave a message, so likely a FAKE calling for PHISHING.  Do not give them info!  Any company who does not say why they are calling on a machine and leave a call back number is FAKE.  I have never owned a Ford, never leased a car, my current car was paid off when I bought it, and none of my relatives own or lease from Ford, either.  I don't talk to or spy on my neighbors, so they are barking up the wrong tree.

Let go do voice mail. No message left. Verizon wireless enhanced caller ID says number belongs to Ford Credit in Colorado Springs, CO. I think more likely a scam. Since I have never used Ford Credit & I know no one other than my Dad whose been dead 40 years that uses(d) Ford Credit, blocked the number. Sorry, I don't have a current number for my dead dad, Ford.

They called my neighbor and asked if I was living next door. I called Ford Credit and they said that's their number but no one called her. I am not late on any payments as a matter of fact I am way ahead. This is a little scary
