Called them back. This is a debt collector who will not say who or what they are collecting for. I am unwilling to give my name and SSN to someone who will not cross my phone number and ID me by name and the company they are collecting for. I know of no company that I owe money to.

Legally they cannot discuss the debt with anyone other than the alleged debtor.  They must give you their company name.

(Sounded like)A woman Called my phone looking for my ex. When I asked to leave a message they asked if this was a good number for him. When I asked what it was regarding they said it was personal in nature. I said if it was that personal, they wouldn't be calling this number, & how did they get my number. She said the client & I said well if you are calling my personal number & are not going to tell me what it's about, then dont call this number again.

Called me early in the morning asking if my friend is available. Since it’s sketchy that she calls my number looking for him instead of calling his number instead. She told me she’s calling regarding of somebody else business. Like first of, it’s my number, if you don’t wanna tell me stop calling me!
