This number is from Eterm Life Insurance

This number has been calling my cell phone.  It is registered to Colorado Springs.  I know of no one who would be calling me from that area, so I have not answered the call.  It calls repeatedly.  I have made several Internet searches and have come up with multiple results saying this is a telemarketer

This is CIGI Direct, insurance broker (caller id says 'John Hightower'), who called me because my 10-yr term life insurance policy is set to expire next month.  It was a valid business call, from someone I have dealt with before, so perhaps you've requested a quote online at some point and gave them your phone number?

Yes, a CIGI Direct insurance broker I dealt with ten years ago. Continues to call when told we don't want to talk to him, and has left outright lies on my voicemail. Seems very desperate for clients.

Got a call from this number to both my home and work phones.  The caller ID says it's from CIGI Direct Insurance (also known as Protective Life Insurance Company).  I have a 20-year term life policy I bought from them in February 2003.  The policy will expire in February 2023.  I didn't answer the phone because I'm sure they're trying to get me to continue with the term life insurance after the policy expires.

I'm not going to renew the policy because the premium will drastically increase after the 20 year policy expires.  I'm currently paying $255 annually for a $250,000 term insurance policy.  After 20 years, the estimated annual premium will increase to $5,695.00.  That's too much of an increase for me to want to pay for term Life Insurance.
