This showed up as a local Denver call on my cell and I accidentally answered it. The caller was a male, foreign accent, and he said "Hello, may I speak with Alyssa Ray?".
I said "you have the wrong number" and he hung up.

This showed up as a Colorado number, when I proceed to look up the number it has multiple locations, and a women answered, I immediately hung up

The person calling wanted me to verify personally identifiable information. But, I wouldn't do so without knowing who was calling and the specific reason for the call.  The caller would not identify himself/herself.

caller was male and asked to speak to my son on my phone.  I asked what call was about and he said it was personal and about credit services.  I would not allow him to speak to my son who said no anyway.  He said he would try again later.

They left a generic message but said to call back 888 634 1357

My phone will auto-silence unknown numbers.  This one left a message.  Male voice.  "Yeah, Important message from credit service company. This is a call from a debt collector please call (888#) - and then long crackle silence before disconnect.  I have no reason to get a collection call.  I suspect they create concern about debt collection and then use phishing scam to obtain information.  They did not identify their name OR THE collection company name either.

My phone identified this number as "Robo Caller".  They have repeatedly called my number and I have never answered them.  I am on the Do Not Call List (apparently useless.)

Got a call on my cell and caller ID indicated a Potential Spam call.

Know what was really useless about that list?  The government going to the trouble of posting what the laws that established the list cover and don't cover.  Know what was useless?  Because people like you never took the time to read it.  Then you come here and make foolish, foolish statements like the one I just quoted.
