He called our office twice asking for the owner by name. When I asked what the call is in regards to he said he had some questions for my boss, again calling him by his name. I repeated my question of what this call is in regards to and he repeated he had some questions about our business and needs to talk to my boss but he got an attitude this time as if he was irritated I asked. So I repeated my question, and so did he more smart-ass like. Did that two more times before he said look you need to put me through or I'm taking my business else-where. I laughed at him and hung up. Good thing I did a search while he was busy acting like an [***].

Hope you really love your job Pete Welch. Must suck to be you.

There's another call that sounds similar sometimes but this guys name is Rick. Also with  719 number.

Update: I received a call from Pete Welsh. He had changed his number to 719-569-7617. He was abrupt and didn't state why he is calling and called for my husband at our office. He did know I own the company.....

It is not a question of what Pete does. It is "how" he conducted himself on a call. If he was such a successful salesperson why can't he just be.....nice.

Same as the others - tried to come across as knowing the CEO and having something important to tell him regarding our business. As soon as I started asking questions, he became irritated and quickly tried to hang up. Said he was a company called CBA (Charles Bale Allen?).

Same as everyone else. Called our office looking to speak with our owner. He did know her name, but he was abrupt and rude. I really could care less that it took 10 seconds to take down his name and number, but if you're trying to get business, don't call and be rude. Every single "Missed Call" email I send to my supervisor includes a description of the demeanor of the person I spoke with, and my email about Pete included that he was rude and sounded angry instantly. We won't work with businesses that don't hold the same customer service values we do and your phone call is our first impression. Make a better first impression, Pete.

Just to confirm the rest of this info, Pete called from 719-569-7617, the same MO with the same rude tone.
We have put his No and other No's from above in our No Call list on our system.

He repeatedly has called the office stating he's "returning a call" to our director.  When saying they are unavailable he gets an attitude.  I pulled his number up on Google and it linked me to his LinkedIn page.  No one is calling him back. How did others get rid of him?
