This is a scam, they text wanting to know if my craigslist item is still for sale. Then text saying they will pay amount and want to send money via secure money transfer. And will have mover come get my item.when I called the number, it is a Google an swearing service.

Tried to get money from me, can't someone do something about this?

Shady!  Was texting us about craigslist posting and wanted to know if we had PayPal and he would send the money but have someone else come pick up the item....my boyfriend texted back and said he wanted to speak to them over the phone.  They replied saying that unfortunately, due to the type of job he does that he couldn't call us or speak over the phone.  Paypal is not a secure source when used for anything other than eBay.  Don't do it!

Put "Cash only, local only" in your craigslist ad.
