I have had the same experience with this number.  I got my one today and the phone did not ring, it just appeared on my missed call log.  CB is useless, the call does not go thru, or nobody answers.  This is most likely some telemarketing or collection scammer, spoofing caller ID with a fake number.

Called my cell but they only ring once then hangs up. WTF?? They called 3 different times now. The cell rings less than a second then hangs up. I didn't even have enough time to pick up. They also never left any messages.

It says its a debt collector on the answering machine msg but when I call back it does not ring

This number showed up in my call log, but the voicemail somehow had the phone number 844-289-8214 linked to it. My friend's ex husband had many debts the are coming around in her name, and he put my phone and her mother's phone in as contact numbers!

Same here it just called me and it rang once and hung up I called back it didn't ring and it just hung up.

I received a call this morning from this number asking for my ex, whom I haven't seen or spoken to in 20 odd years.  When I asked why they were calling me, they said they were given my number as a contact.  As I told them to remove my number from that list, they hung up on me!

This caller said they were looking for a family member I haven't seen for 25 years. How this caller tied my phone number with this relative is indeed suspicious.

It's a scam! Don't answer and it will stop. Answer and it will never stop.
