Verizon.  They're getting sneakier...now they call from an area code where you live, instead of an 800 number.  If you are getting close to your "cut-off" date (usually the fifth) expect a few calls a day from this number.

Already set up a payment arrangement with Verizon and they still call.

They call and call don't even give you a chance to make payments are they that broke?

my son keeps getting calls from this number. He finally answered and the individual claimed he was calling my son back as he had been to a job search site and requested information. (He didn't) looks like they are spoofing verizon's number to get people to answer.

Soon as my 'time is up' with Verizon, I'm switching to
someone else. Have enough going on, without financial
dept, or anyone else constantly harrassing me!!

Also, as someone mentioned  --  they like being 'sneaky'.
Was nearby this morning, to phone.  Showed someone
calling, from contact list.  Guess what?!  It switched to
show this number!!

Yes, DEFINITELY changing providers, ASAP!!

Automated or not.  They need to stop calling, texting,
HARRASSING!   No more 'contracts' for me.  A case of being screwed, if you pay or not.  They don't seem to care.  Am really tired of hearing, from everyone 'we want OUR money!!'  Guess what?  We want our money!!
Verizon needs to change, and actually work with and pay attention!!

Got several calls, but I didn't answer. Just called back, got an automated answer saying that this number is not in service.

I have received several calls and texts on my Verizon Cell phone. the texts write "You have prizes waiting." I called Verizon yesterday very angry. I was told this is not Verizon. Like the current IRS phone scam, he representative said there had been a rash of phone calls of people getting messages demanding money and one's bank information. This is a scam.

This number calls repeatedly on my Centurylink phone number. Leaves no message. Can't be Verizon?

This number calls almost daily and all I hear is silence

This is NOT Verizon.  I called Verizon's 800 number and they confirmed for me that everything on my account looks normal, (which I already knew).  This is a scammer.  Do not answer and do not give them any information.

Despite having made specific payment arrangements with Verizon, and them agreeing to same, they continue to call two or more times a day well into the late evening, even on our company's emergency line (wonder how they got that,it's not published).  This is nothing short of harassment and very annoying, which is probably what they intend.

You're talking to a call center that you have NO idea who you are talking with. You also need to call a Verizon Wireless call center number for verification. Question and verify who you are talking with. With Verizon routing procedures your calls may be directed to their debt collection agencies automatically if behind in payments.

Automated call asks for your name. If correct press one but then it just repeats over and over again.
