received the same text message just now from that number

First a guy called me by name and asked for a pledge for our veterans.  I told them I couldn't give them $20, then he said he would SEND me a pledge card for $15 and if I wanted to donate later I could, I said okay and then he said he was sending me to the verification dept.  Then a woman came on wanting my credit card number and when I asked her about a pledge card, she kept trying to get a credit card number.  She said she would need my name and address and I told her if they knew who I was when they called me by name, they should already have that info and hung up, Scam to get seniors card numbers.

Answered this call and they confirmed my name then said there was no message. Not sure what kind of scam they are up to.

Called at 10:20 AM.  Great way to destroy your morning.  Will block

Asked for "Christie", who had our phone number over 10 years ago. Went sort of like this:

THEM: Christie? Christie?
ME: No you must have the wrong number
THEM: Oh well maybe you can help! We've been calling people in the area...
ME: No thanks
THEM: (continues speech about veterans, I hang up)

Foundation for American Veterans has a F grade rating from charitywatch.org because 85% of funds raised goes to expenses. This is a junk charity.

Call coming from 970-667-4206.  Have no idea why.  Call back.

It's a spoof number being forwarded.  Think call may be coming from VOIP  970-667-7955 via 970-667-4206.

When answered, automated voice said to wait and someone would be with me soon. Immediately, a man's voice said my wife's first name as a question. I said "Hello?". Call disconnected.

16 Jan 17, Called at 8:35 PM, asked for the "lady of the house" and when I asked who was calling he hung up.  Caller ID shows FAV.

Calls and hangs up. Never leaves a message.

Scam.  they are trying to get you to say "yes" so they can attach it to a purchase.

Have called several times. They do not leave a message.

no one replies when this call is answered.  Always calls evenings after 7:30.
When calling back, voicemail replies Foundation for American Veterans Inquiry line.

Keep getting calls from this number, but no messages. I would like my number removed from their list, as 85% of this "charity" goes to "expenses." DO NOT WISH TO GIVE TO THIS SO-CALLED CHARITY.

Yes it's a charity.  Money for the  some son's of Zion.  They will be judged  as such.

Argued with me & caller had my name. Blocked FAV & they just call from another #. Removed from their call list & they keep calling anyway.

Call from this number coming from 520-214-4142 and 970-818-7581.  They well hang up when answered.

Someone using VOIP calling.  Number 720-259-0107 called just before. Then call from 970-259-0107 and then  407-537-7551 then 720-463-9600.  Short rings no answers. Some fool playing games with their phone.
