Received the following voicemail message;
“You want to cancel the subscription please call us immediately at support 1-720-797-8144 I repeat the number 1-720-797-8144 if you are not the subscriber of PP care maintenance service please disconnect the call immediately and call us at 1-720-797-8144 thank you and have a wonderful day…”

I'm not in Colorado, but Alabama. I received a call from 720-797-8144 (Denver, CO number). It was an automated recording that $299 was going to be charged to my credit card or bank account on file to renew my subscription. If I do not want my to renew my subscription, I should call 1-720-797-8144 immediately. It repeated the number 1-720-797-8144. I immediately hung up. I called the number back. Someone with a foreign accent answered the phone "hello." I asked who it was and he said he was calling about my Geek Squad subscription and asked if I wanted to cancel it. Then he wanted to know if I had a computer in front of me so he can send me the cancellation form. I said no, just e-mail it to whatever info you have on file. He said first I need to know if you have a computer in front of you. I told him I was not going to play this game and hung up. A few months ago, I did use geek squad to repair my daughters laptop, but I do not have any sort of subscription. The laptop was a gift from my brother and sister-in-law and they purchased a warranty for it. There may have been a data breach or it is just a phishing attempt and a coincidence regarding Geek Squad. Beware!

Got the same message.  Most likely a scam.  I have no subscritions

This is 100% a scam. They left a message about the $299 subscription renewal that others described above. I called the number back. Foreign accented man asked if I wanted to cancel the subscription and get a refund. I said yes. He asked me to get in front of my computer. I replied back that I do not have a computer. His reply: "Go f**k with your mom" and then he hung up. So, yes, definitely a scam.

It is a phishing scam. Either Geek squad or Norton antivirus or one of those... Amount is almost always $299.
