DFW here i been getting them all day. I called tmobile and they told me they cant stop it because its being sent from an email address. May try calling the FBI because the local PD on a weekend will not have the resources or specialities/equipment to deal with the issue. Everyone call you local FBI office and report the issue.

I receive about 10 to 20 phone call from this SO? that not has anything to do. I hope he show the face in my phone book. He is another looser in the USA.That want money from other people with out of work. This  is a fraud / low life witch that not had nothing to do.

I report this situation to my phone company. They said is spam agency.

Dave, I went in to T-Mobile and told them the problem. They told me to just type Stop in the reply field, but this guy is sending it from different places, so that didn't stop it. I don't know if he's spoofing or what, so it didn't help. I called the number to see what the scam was, so I could give as much information as possible when reporting it. I let Bank of America know, and I reported it as a scam to Donotcall.gov. If you haven't got anything better to do than to spend your Saturdays insulting frustrated people who are looking for answers, you seriously need to get out more. I'm guessing you're either a ten-year-old, or your one of those "adults" who doesn't have a girlfriend and has very few friends who are probably jerks like you. :P

whoever it is sending via an email but they r sending as an simple text so ive no ip address that i can look at ..thats what tmobile shud probably has and should focus on ... determining where its originating and black th IP

Received eight of these unwanted text messages between 11:26 and 15:06 CDT today (23-Jul-2011).    I work for a communications company and can examine databases:

Offending switch when calls are to go is in Denver CO, at MADSZ and is owned by
Pac West.   The CLLI code can be translated into a street address.  Send wrath there.

I don't have a girlfriend because I'm a het woman, but I don't see how that's relevant. I'm also a 42-year-old professional, although again, I don't see how that's relevant. As for "insulting frustrated people who are looking for answers," I gave you an answer, so you're not making any sense. Block the freaking text messages! This is not hard. I find it bizarre that you would rather complain on a message board than take two minutes to download a free app and BLOCK THE MESSAGES! Do you just want to complain? You want people to feel sorry for you? I don't get it. There's an easy solution. Take it.

Oh FFS, it depends on exactly what model of phone you have. Just google "how to block text messages on a [phone model]" How does this not occur to people?

I RECEIVE IN ALL MY PHONE AT LIST FROM 10 T0 20 CALL. THEY ASK TO UNLOCK YOUR BANK ACCOUNT WITH BANK OF AMERICA. I HOPE THIS INFORMATION HELP THE POLICE OR SOME WANT TO GET THIS PEOPLE AND MAKE THEM STOP  THE ABUSE THEY HAD. TAHNK YOU

I replied "STOP" in all caps and I haven't recieved anymore.

Same here. Same text to call. I called and it states that our account has been locked. My fiance and I keep receiving th;e texts ! We do not have Bank of America. Is this just T- Mobile?? How do u stop it? F#@

I have gotten 9 text from this number.  I am aT-Mobile cust. in the San Antonio area.  Its some sort of spam. ignor and delete.  Haven't been able to block it.  Once the first number stopped I got 4 more from a variation.

This is a hack that Tmobile's Firewall failed to prevent.  I have been on the phone with them for 40minutes in order to confirm this and receive a refund for the slew of text messages.

They were very interested and prompt concerning my helping them indentify the problem.

However, receiving my refund for the text messages has benn a classic Kafka maze.  I was transferred four times with no one able to refund my 60 cents (6 text messages @ $0.10 each).

I have a much more drastic solution to the problem - I am going to drop Tmoblie.  Yep I am going to leave them after 5+ years b/c they cannot refund $0.60 after I assisted them with a hack.  I do not know who I will switch too, but any suggestions are welcome.

Sum:  Tmobile firewall fail, I assist, problem solved, I attempt to receive refund for fraud, sent to dead end customer service maze, I waste 40 minutes, I become pissed, I leave as customer and prod others to do the same.

I am in Houston but have a Ft Worth cell number, been txt 37 times since 6am!!  I do have a FB account but no Bank Of America....this SUCKS!!  Good thing I have unlimited!!!

I have received about 15 text messages with the same email address and telephone number that others have reported.  I am a T-mobile customer as well and this is very annoying----I too am getting charged for each message.
