number comes up unavailable.  This call is from Guardian Protection Services.  An alarm home security company.

It is Guardian...ours was a courtesy call to verify for installation but I am guessing if they are calling you at 3-4 AM, then they likely have your number on file incorrectly for someone else's account.  If it's a wrong number, call them (888-854-8773) and let them know!  I'm sure they don't mean to intentionally disturb you!

I have been getting these calls for nearly 2 years and have told them to remove my name and number from their list.  They keep calling anyway.  It is Guardian and they have not taken me off their call list despite repeated requests

I am on the NO CALL list and this company continues to call me. When I answer, they hang up. So, now I don't answer the phone anymore. I have to pay now for an extra service with AT&T to block this number. Jerks!

I did receive the call, but I do have services with them. At least for me, it is part of a follow up (service and setup).

Received a call from 473-520-9780, it rang twice and hung up. I called it back and got what sounded like porn. About 30 minutes later I received a call from 01137091091134 2 rings only. This was the start of several calls from various numbers that ring 2 times only. 6644120061 - 7247413500 - 2468599015 - 7672359474 - 4734050089 -

I received a call from (724) 741-3500. They did leave a voicemail and it is legit. I recently purchased a home and it was Guardian calling to set up a walk through to discuss the wiring for the new home.  Hope this was helpful!

Legit Guardian Security Service. One of the reasons they call is if your system does not appear to be working correctly. Check with whoever put in your security stem to verify Guardian is the service they use.

As others have noted, yes this is an actual call if you have the Guardian security system for your home.  And it's sort of like a courtesy call to make sure your system is functioning properly.  That being said, they call me too many times at random days and hours.  The other thing is that apparently when they call you, they also reach people on your emergency list as well, so if you don't answer, your contacts are the ones dealing with these calls as well.  And they don't like being bothered any more than you do!  (I know from, shall we say, experience.)
