Called me today. Said they were Medicare of GA calling in regards to a pain in my lower back (which I don't have). My daughter told them not to call and to remove our # from her list and the woman with an accent said the call was not for her it was for Mom. My daughter said it again and then my daughter hung up.

Landline didn't answer & no message left.

I have my moms cell due to her being in the hospital. Number kept calling so I answered. As soon as I answered she kept calling me by my moms name. After she paused for my response I said.......You do know you are calling my 13 year olds phone? I got a "sorry" and "we will take this number off our list". Yep you better! Illegal to silicate a child!  Love answering my 70 year olds mother phone with that line. Has stopped a LOT of telemarketers from calling. My mother (no lie) has gone from 20 telemarketers calling per DAY to 1 or 2. It's great!

I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.  I get 5-10 calls a day.  Some from the same number and then different numbers.
Someone wanted to be able to block numbers on their landline number and you can do this.  I bought Panasonic phones and I can block up to 250 calls.  When I get 250 numbers blocked I delete all of them and start over.

Robo call it is a scam

Repeat calls from this number. No messages left.

Got 3 calls today.  Decided to answer 2 of them.  No one at other end.  The time of their calls on my phone were about 2 hours different from our time.

Just got a call from this number at 6:10 in the morning!!! When I asked who it was, he hung up on me. It sounded like he was from India. Who the hell has allowed for all these idiot telemarketers to bother consumers constantly like this? They are all low lives who need to get a real job and I am fed up already. Medicare doesn't call people...especially at 6 in the morning. These scammers should be locked up.

rec'd call today and 2 days ago from a different phone number but both said Florida Call on my caller ID.  A girl asked for me by last name and asked who she was and she said Sierra Adams and then I said what was Florida doing calling here and she hung up.  Found out from my police dept that these are scammers pretending to be from Medicare.

Thanks for all the information. I got a call today. Didn't answer, then blocked the number. By the way, AT&T sells a phone now that automatically blocks unidentified calls and with which you can add 2,500 blocked numbers.

7/25/18 at 3:53pm EST. Medicare scam. Indian accent. Knew my name. What good is the DO NOT CALL service?

This is a Medicare Scam. If Medicare wants to talk with me they would either contact my insurance carrier or send a letter. Foreign speaking voice. I told him this was a scam and he hung up.

Called again and rejected by call blocker again.

Caller ID said Florida call. No message left. Glad I read the above posts. So sick of these damn scammers.

no voicemail left...I do not answer calls from numbers that I do not recognize.

Just received this call. Normally I don’t answer calls on landline, just listen for the number. Realized it was a St. Pete number & got concern because we have relatives in that area. No message, so decided to check out number. As everyone has mentioned this was not a legitimate  call.

Suspected Medicare scam caller (based on what others have listed)...did NOT leave any message identifying caller's ID or nature or reason for such telephone call.  I chose NOT to answer the call.

Been calling forever, finally answered.  I told American accent person to stop calling, he asked for a grown daughter.  I put on my foreign voice (laughing, this makes them mad), told him to stop calling, and he TOLD me he will not stop calling me if he wanted to, and told him to go to hell, and go get a decent job. wish I told me to keep it up, I will be rich for all the calls, phone company has a log.
