Even if this caller advertises in a magazine that you subscribe to, they have the right, UNDER the DO NOT CONTACT LAW to contact you. Ever checked the box on a web form that asks if 3rd parties can contact you...then that also falls under this category as well.

Our legislators did a great thing with the do not call list, but now that sales companies have figured out ways LEGALLY around it, it is time to reform the law and restrict these 3rd party or "associated" companies from calling us.

For myself regarding this call: I have requested additional info fro selected third parties when I subscribed to a free electronic magazine called "Certification Magazine" which showcases anything to do with getting any sort of Computer/IT/Information systems, etc. It's a great magazine, but I do have to put up with a few calls from companies that have any affiliation with them, including ever putting any sized ad in the magazine.

I DO NOT agree with the way the law is currently written and I personally have googled to find out who my congressman is and wrote an email asking for him to support legislation to reform the Do Not Call List law.

Instead of just complaining about getting these annoying calls, please do the same and write your legal representatives.

No. By purchasing something from the company, you established a business relationship with the company. As a result, even if you put your number on the National Do Not Call Registry, that company may call you for up to 18 months after your last purchase or delivery from it, or your last payment to it, unless you ask the company not to call again. In that case, the company must honor your request not to call. If they subsequently call you again, they may be subject to a fine of up to $16,000 .

An established business relationship with a company also will be created if you make an inquiry to the company, or submit an application to it. This kind of established business relationship exists for three months after the inquiry or application. During this time, the company can call you.

If you make a specific request to that company not to call you, however, then the company may not call you, even if you have an established business relationship with that company.

Received a voicemail stating, "I'm having a hard time reaching you at this number.  If you get a chance, call me back 727-450-0476 extension 29.  I look forward to hearing from you."   No name given.  No company given.  No reason for the call given.

No return call from me!

Looks like the boiler room is still cooking.  A guy left a message on my answering machine, and the recording started with a guy in the middle of a conversation, interrupting it long enough to say that he was 'Thomas' of ISS, that he had been having trouble reaching me at the number I had 'provided,' and that I could reach him at 727.450.0476 ext 59.  My immediate reaction was what he probably wanted, which would be to call him, because I'm desperately trying to escape a dead-end job, but he had called my house phone, not my cell, which is what I have on my resume, so I Googled the number first.

Sorry, 'Thomas,' but I keep the house phone mostly as a scam trap; go steal from somebody else.

Received Voicemail from this number on a line which is on the do-not-call registry.  Caller instructed me to contact them at listed number, no details provided.  I've never heard of this company before and certainly have no business relationship with them.

I filed a complaint with the FCC.

Note that, depending on your state, the state law may not allow calls under some of these circumstances, or require a company to offer to put you on their do not call list before giving you the pitch, or outlaw robocalls.

Robocall to my home number, part of message left on answering machine, but no contact info other than name. I have never done business with these people, and have no idea what sort of product they are talking about. We are on state & federal do not call lists.

Complaints to DNC registry are useless. They've been giving that "soon" line for over 2 years now. Government's idea of soon = never.

Telemarketer left voicemail about some educational courses

I called and asked that my name be removed.  They took my information and said they would do that.  Time will tell

Received a call from "Eli" at work stating that they had a hard time reaching me. I don't know who they were, as he didn't say the company name and just said to call him back at the above number. I didn't call back.

I purchased from them once back in 2009, and they have called me I bet a hundred times.  I just saved them as a contact on my phone and have it sent directly to VM. Examforce is the name of the company, so if you want them to call you day in and day out...then buy from them 1 time....I even told them not to call me in 2009, if I am interested I will call them.  They have called me 3 times in the last 2 days and not left a VM.

I bought it once. They claimed it was a 500 dollar program discounted to 99. It might be worth 25 but it's not worth five years of annoying phone calls. It definitely does not compare to any of my other purchases. I was only a sucker that one time, since then they have probably had hundreds of commission only employees calling me while working for free.

I have told these people multiple times, through the last several years, to mark my phone number as "do not call" . they simply have a different person make the call. Apparently "do not call" means that particular individual, not the company as an entity.

I receive unsolicited calls from this number and would like to stop this harassment.

I just had a call from Max with Interactive Study Systems (727-450-0476) asking for our IT Manager. Max mutilated the Managers last name so I knew in an instant this was a cold call and put him on hold. I left him there until he hung up. I’ve logged his number into our phone data base so that the next time Max calls’ it forwards to a junk mail box.

I wish to stop the nuisance calls from this number 727-450-0476. I am registered on "do not call" list.
Any advise?
