- KevinIt's a credit service in Florida. My phone number use to be owned by someone who is now in debt all over the place, but conveniently has failed to update her creditor's records. I've also received a couple voice mails from Macy's, so this company may be trying to recover for them.
- Call type: Debt collector
- NancyWe got one of these calls today, too. It was around 2:30 PM Eastern time. My mother was on the other line and when she clicked over no one was there. They have not called back.
I doubt it's a collection agency...I have had collection agencies call me and they at least say something when you answer and leave a message if you don't. - SabrinaSince last week i've been getting calles from 727-556-5772 which shows up as clerwater florida, we you answer no one says nothing last night they called again around 9:15pm which is after the time you can legally call someone owing an debt. - Donna| 1 replyI got a call this morning and did not answer it. No message was left and I thought about calling the number back but didn't. I have a private number and don't give this number to anyone except family, and it's a new number through our cable company. A newly created phone number, not one someone else had before. Anyway, just thought I would add my 2 cents. In addition to that, the phone number is registered with the do not call registry.
- ddI called them back and after the 3rd try someone answered and said that it was regarding my macy's card (they also do bloomingdales(sp?) ). It was a ligit call but I did not give out any info other than my address/phone#/dob. Then he said it was regarding my payment that was not made. He asked if I wanted to make a payment by phone but I told him that I will be making the payment at the store, and then he proceeded to ask where I work or the number to my work, but I declined to let him know that info. And that was that.

- kgI got one call this morning and another call this afternoon. Neither time they left a message, so I called them back, and a recording picked up and said "Your call may be monitored" , and then a woman picked up and said "This is credit services, My name is Ms. Davis, may I have your account # please." I then hung up the phone.

- DDIncoming call from this number, usually nobody on other line. I got one person on the line once wanting to collect a debt. Understand they want paid, however once you hang up from the call thinking the situation has been solved the company continues to call every 5 minutes for about an hour. Even if you hang up the line. These calls are made daily all day long, my phone doesn't stop ringing.

- FrankI just received two telephone calls today (3/19/2007) from this telephone number (727-556-5772). Picked up the phone when it rang and no one responded. The caller ID said "FACS". I checked online and found that this number is a St. Petersburg, FL number.

- DFACS is software (Ontario Systems) used by companies (usually collectin agencies) to auto dial a list of numbers.
Ontario Systems’ Verified Contacts system uses dialing and interactive voice response technology to increase right-party contacts. As the dialer senses an answer on an outbound call, the IVR uses pre-recorded messages in conjunction with text-to-speech technology to speak the contact’s name to ask for the account holder.
The text-to-speech technology plays a personalized message to the contacted party asking for the right party by name. If the right party is unavailable, the contacted party can indicate this without interrupting your account representative and the call is completed.
If the person answering the phone confirms being the account holder, the call is sent immediately to an account representative with a screen pop of the relevant account information. When the account representative receives the transfer, the normal account talk-off process can begin.
In another example, based on rules you define, you can route the right party to an account representative and instead place the party in the automated IVR to create a payment arrangement. This allows you to further manage the verified contacts that are passed through to the account representative, for example only those above a certain balance threshold.
http://www.ontariosystems.com/products/facs/ - TheanneLast week I received several calls showing on my caller id as Clearwater, FL and didn't answer them thinking it was solicitors. Finally, after several calls in succession, I picked it up and hung up. A few days later the same thing happened so I decided to answer the call, I got the usual delay that you get with solicitor calls and a gentleman with an East Indian accent told me that I had an overdue Macy's bill. He gave me a number to call because I wanted them to send me the bill since I hadn't received any and wanted to see it first. He had me call another number to request copies and to see why I wasn't receiving them. I called the number and from what I was told my Macy's bills were being sent online which was going to my spambox and I never checked. I told them I had never requested online billing statements. Monday I received 3 billing statements. Today, I've gotten 3 calls from this phone number again and again no one is there. Then my cell phone rang twice with the same number and no one was there -- scary because I don't know how they got my cell phone #! I think I'm going to call Macy's billing dept and complain because this is not only ridiculous but bordering on harrassment. My bill was only $31!
- Caller: collection agency for Macy's

- jayWe have been getting calls from this number for months. I have picked up on occassion to find silence from the other end. No contact ever. Can't figure out how to stop it.
- PamI think they are a collection agency- they call my mobile phone and ask for a Jerome Carlos; NOT ME, not even close.
I have asked 4 representatives to remove me from their system. Today I received 3 calls from this number! They never say the name of their company/agency.
I used the link above to file a complaint based upon the phone number.- Call type: Debt collector
- seattlethey called me twice today, never left message, i pick up and then they say nothing. i googled the number and found this site and from what i've found its a collection agency from florida for macys. i was a few days late with a payment so i guess they're calling me now, but still it seems shady to me not like any agency i've ever heard of
