Got a call. Anyone else?

Got a call from this number and don't know what it is.

Just got a call, dont know what it is, was looking for somebody else and I said its wrong number and he disconnected phone. Strange thing is when I got call, they played the tape that your call is important to us and our reprentative will attend you shortly. Looks like this number belongs to a call center, its is scam or not, I am no sure

Called looking for the person who previously had my number.  Appears to be a collection agency, since I've previously gotten calls from people looking for "Marlena".  Whoever she is, she appears to owe money to a lot of people.

Missed call on my cell. Called back, got recording saying "please hold for a representative." Hold time long, gave up.

This number called I did not answer the phone. He was from another country when I got the message I could hardly understand him.He asked for my mother by her full name telling her to call him back it was important. did not say anything else. Sounded funny so we have not called it back. In trying to look it up this site is the only place I have found the number.

i have received 4 or 5 calls from this number - never a message though - reverse searching does not reveal who the number belongs to.  there ought to be a way to figure out who the "owner" of the number is.  i googled the number and hit this site - crazy.

Didn't answer it since I didn't recognize it.

after receiving another 3 calls in a 2 hour time span i called the number back and it is the "credit/collection" department for macy's.  i was a week late with my payment due to being home in bed with the flu - i'd had to see how many calls i'd get if i had been really late  - like 30 days or more!

Keeps calling one of our cell #'s.  Leaves no message, so far we've missed each call.  We'd like to be able to block this caller.  If anyone knows how to do this, we'd like to know.

Macy's made a mistake, when I called back they checked and said that there was nothing wrong with my account and that there were sorry. I called Macy's to make sure it wasn't a fraudulent call and they said it was one of their collection depts.

No message left.  I called the number and a very nice woman came on the line after a recorded message stated that my call may be monitored.  She said she is with Macy's.  My payment is late.  She was correct.  I made my payment over the phone with no penalty.  Very pleasant to deal with for being a collections department.

my phone doesn't actually allow me to answer these calls... rings as 'data call' and won't pick up.

what happened to Do Not Call registry?

Did you know there is a number now for cell phones for Do NO Call? When I find it I will post it.

Recorded message of some sort, not clear who the caller is and what they want.  Asks I think to call back an 800 number.  No idea who this is.
