A call from CFFA appeared on our caller ID last week. Today, I receoved another call from CFFA and answered. A man stated he was calling on behalf of some firefighter's charity. I told him I wasn't interested in giving any money. He then said that he was just offering a friendly reminder to check our smoke detectors since it is "Fire Prevention Month." Without missing a beat, I told him that October is Fire Prevention Month. Click. Dial tone. Take that scum, every so often you just might call someone who knows a hell of a lot more than you do!

Call showed as a local call (for me) from either 706 or 423 area code. North Georgia or SE Tennessee...

I received a call from a man, a foreigner, telling me that the Social Security administration had messed up and they were going to send me $500 a week for the next 6 months and that all they needed was bank routing number and account number.  I asked them for what and he said to deposit the money in my account.  I asked if I was going to receive this in writting and he said my bank would contact me and send me out the paperwork.  He already had my home address.

Three days ago I started receiving calls from Central Florida Finance on my cell phone.  I have no idea how they received my phone number.  anyways, I didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the number, and figured if it was important, they would leave a message.  So I decided to google the number, and came across this website, and read all the messages everyone posted.  After finding out they were a fraudulent company, I was angry!  So yesterday they called me again, and I picked up. The guy told me I had been approved for a credit card, and I asked how he got my number.  He said my number had been forwarded to their company from another company that didn't approve me for a credit card, which is a bunch of BS, because I didn't apply for any credit cards, loans, or anything of that sort!  So he started going into his speal, and I stopped him and said "Listen, I googled your number and read messages from many people stating that your company is fraudulent.  You guys are ignorant low lifes, and shame on you for trying to take advantage of innocent people!  I have already contacted the authorities and turned you in (which I really did!), and if you contact me again, I will take further action against your pathetic ass!", and I then hung up.  They haven't called back since.  So to all of you who may be receiving calls from them, please don't give them any information, they are fakes!  And turn them into the authorities!

i received a call from this number 727.683.0725 around 4:15pm today so i called it back on my work phone and the line was busy. so i tried again on my cell phone and surprise the line was busy, i thought that was kinda of strange so i decided to google the number and this website popped up. i never google numbers but for some odd reason i did and good thing i did cause if they would have gotten me on the phone i would have been one of the ones to give them my information. so if you get a phone call from them DONT GIVE YOUR INFORMATION OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

i got a call and asked was it a credit card that can be used anywhwere and they said yes. The guy on the phone was rude. He kept cutting me off when I wanted to speak. He tried to get my bank information and I told him no he should have all my information file if he was only calling to confirm a little information. I asked for his numer so I could call him back to verify who he is and he got more upset. He tried to transfer me to his so called supervisor I told him"supervisor or not I am not releasing my information over the phone and I don't know who this company is" after a few minutes of arguing he got the point that I am no fool and I pulled his number up online and gave some information then he hung up on me when I told him what I find online...

Someone came on the line and asked me if I was trying to re-establish my credit and I stated yes. I was then transferred to someone who verified my address and when I asked if this was a "Mastercard or Visa" credit card the guy said "there are several cards" and hung up on me. I tried calling back but the line was busy. Sounds like a scam to me.

I just received a call at work. I refused the info they requested and asked why i needed to provide. He was VERY PERSISTANT. I terminated the call.

They've been calling me for the past few days.  But there is no one on the other line.  It just keeps ringing then disconnects.  I've already received two today and it's only noon.

This phone number 727-683-0725 keeps coming up on my phone and then when you call it back, then it just rings and rings. No one answers when you call it back.

1-727-683-0725. I admit that I was dooped because I needed a REAL credit card. They wait until they get your info, then mention they are a catalogue card.

I got a call from them this morning and when I answered the phone they hung up.

I have received calls from this number and usually ignore it. Today I decided to answer and a woman told me I qualified for a card. I told her
I wasnt interested and she goes"WHATEVER!" and hung up on me!!!!! I was so hot that I tried calling the number back to give her a piece of my mind, that how dare she solicate me and be rude but no one answered.

I've been getting these calls too. as some other people have said, i also applied for an online loan, and im sure they got my number from there. I just called the 800 number someone posted, confirmed it was CFF, and asked them to remove my name and number. hopefully he really did---I hate these calls.

Yeah, they call so much, i kinda call them back, and they ask for your bank account, that is so ridiculous, I told them do not bother me, but they still call

We've received calls from here and when we answer they hang up.  Today they asked for me and when my boyfriend said sure hold on and handed me the phone they hung up.  What the heck is going on?

I got several calls form this number. They hung up when I answer the call and the number is busy or no one answers when I call back. Finally, one evening, when I answerd the call, there was a lady who said she is calling because of my credit card defaultsand asked if I want to resolve it. She hung up by saying OH, you don't want to resolve the problem when I try to find out who she is and when I told her I have no such problem.

Central Florida Financial customer service number is 800-682-1923. I found it on their website in case you want to give them a piece of your mind. They have called my phone and I blocked them.
