How does the scam work?  I called the number hoping to let someone have it. It seemed to pick up but no sound after that. Is it a toll number?

Fake IRS call. Just a reminder folks - the IRS will never telephone you. They do business via mail and important business via registered mail.

I got some Cockney git saying "Ello? Ello?" I just sat silently listening so I don't know what he wanted. Obvious phone bank noises in the background, though.

Multiple scam calls from this number.  IRS Fraud supposedly, foreign (Middle Eastern or Indian) male.

Got a very threatening call from this number.  They left a msg. which did not completely record.  Voice sounded robotic w/ obvious foreign accent, allegedly from "IRS."  Unable to trace number; reeks of SCAM!  Everyone knows that the IRS does not communicate this way!  Made me angry!  :-(

I received the same message today. Very threatening. I disregarded it.

Same message as others man with foreign accent wishing "a good luck" if we do not return the call & I believe our appointed attorney is Jack Smith.

Audit for IRS. Immediate legal action.
