Except for the annoyance, the card service scammers can do no harm to you, as long as you haven't given them any personal information--ESPECIALLY your credit card number. Answering their calls, and returning calls to them, can increase the amount of calls you receive from these and other scammers.

Do these idiots think anyone will answer when caller ID says "Name Unavailable"? I never answer unless I know who is calling.

If you have a landline phone with AT&T, you can block the calls by using Anonymous Call Rejection. Just pick up the receiver and dial *77 to activate. We did this several months ago after being barraged with "Name Unavailable" calls--especially late at night.

Problem solved.

As I stated earlier, the card service scammers target the low income, and the elderly, many of whom, do to financial considerations, do not have caller id to protect themselves.

Called twice in a row, did not leave a message.

These nice ***holes just told me my cc and bank acount. Was being taken over .........I don't even have a cc. Or bank acount what idiots may they burn in hell .........................Only after someone scams them out of all their money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got a call from this number..thank goodness I didn't answer. Assumed it was a scam.

Call from this number. Left 2 second voicemail. Nothing...blocked this number. All iPhone users do the same as I did...block the number 😜

Just got a call from 728-726-4127   I didnt'T answer.

I get these calls on my cell and go to look at call with out calling them and just block this caller and your phone will not even ring when they try calling you using that number.

I answered call to hear someone offer lower credit card interest rates with no company name.
It was an automated "robot call".  I called back an hour later and the number was unreachable:
7287264127 and 7204526477.  SCAMMERS!

Right after they hang up,  get dial tone and    P U S H  * 77    TO  B L O C K  THEM!

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Called me and I didn't answer

There was an attempt to contact me...but I don't answer calls from numbers I'm not familiar with....trust me less stress:)))

I always google #'s I don't know...If it's a scammer or a solicitor I block that #. Saves me alot of headaches:))))

I have been getting multiply call from this number since last week.  I have not answered and there are no messages.  My my caller says Customs, very strange!
