Like others here mentioned, didn't recognize; came through on cell phone. Did not pick up. Number now blocked.

This caller rings my phone and someone says '' I am sorry that is not a valid extension"

728-726-6888 called my number - because I did not recognize that number I answered the call and kept quiet and listening - then a recorded voice said -- [I am sorry that is not a valid extension, try again] - then the call ended - I just blocked that number.

WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever! It would be wise to block the ENTIRE '728 area code', as it doesn't exist- it is spoofed, and ONLY USED BY SCAMMERS.

I received a call, but did not answer seeing as I did not recognize the 728 area code. There was a 2 second voice mail left, but it was silence.

Metro block it automatically blocked this number. I googled the number and it led me to this site. Good to see there are sites like this one to warn others about scammers or potential scammers. Thanks to all those who took time to report this number.

Just received a call with no message. Invalid area code, definitely a scammer.

I just missed a call from this number, reading the comments it seems that I didn't miss much.

Gotten calls from this number a few times. Always starts with a recording: "This is Lisa, calling about your credit card account. There's no problem..." This time I pressed 9 to speak to a customer service person. He answered and I asked how I could get my number off their call list. He said "Yes, there's only one thing you can do for that. Come down here and lick my b-lls." !!!  Pretty sure that's not standard protocol for a legit company.

Every day someone calls from this number saying they can lower my credit card interest. DON'T BELIEVE THEM  OR TALK TO THEM, SCAM.

SCAM!!!! Answered the call. Automated message says they're calling about my credit card. There's nothing wrong with my card, but I qualify for interest rates as low as 6%. Press 9 to lower my interest rates. They never stated what company they were calling from. I hung up and added this number to my auto reject list.

There is 'nothing wrong' with your credit card NOW, BUT for those that fall for these credit card crooks' scam, there will be plenty 'wrong' with their card, such as having all of their available credit used up fraudulently!

I usually don't answer these, but I have been getting several unknown caller calls lately and I plan to report them.  So I answered to see if anyone was actually there.  I got the automated system that offered to do something with credit card balances, etc.  If I was interested I was directed to press 9.  So I did.  I got someone named "Dillon".  I told them to take me off the list and that I was on the do not call registry.  He hung up.  I have a feeling I'm in for more calls.  If they do call me back here is what I will do:

I'll give them fake information and act interested.  I'll keep them on as long as I can before chewing them out.  That really pisses them off.  Then I'll file reports.
