Apparently this is the new number of the day. No VM. Given that a previous number reported was scammers (728-726-5197) is one digit off, I'm going to assume its spam.

WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever! It would be wise to block the ENTIRE '728 area code', as it doesn't exist- it is spoofed, and ONLY USED BY SCAMMERS.

Just got a call from them. I didn't answer and whoever it is did not leave a voice message. I called the number back and got a message saying "The number or code you have dialed is incorrect." Must be a scam.

Just received a call from this number, so I went ahead and pushed 9 to be connected with a "representative".  When the said representative came on the line, I asked "who is this" and they gave me some vague answer about Visa/MasterCard, but never gave an actual name.  I then requested that they remove my name from their call list and was rudely told "I don't have any control over that" and she hung up on me!  LOL!  I have blocked the number, would advise you do the same!

The card service scammers   WILL   'service' our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!

Got a call so I quickly looked here to see what people had to say.  I decided to answer it to tell them off.  When I answered i got an automated " sorry that is not a valid extension" and it hung up on me.
    Odd.
    Being blocked no matter.

It's only a matter of time before they just start using a different "originating" number for every call they make.

The caller id system is a farce, since its relies on dishonest people acting honestly, and there appears to be no consequence for spoofing your number.

Also, I just had a call "from" that number on my cellphone. didn't pick up, of course.

This post can be further substantiated by the fact that another website reports the number doesn't exist.  If you double-checked the number, then it was from someone who spoofed caller ID.  Why would someone want to tamper with their own legitimate number?  They would not.  This has to be a scam.

Press 9 now, to be connected to one of our friendly scammers, who will be more than happy to earn his or her commission in order to continue their drug habit, by totally draining your credit card account. They are not able to lower any interest rates, but they will lower the available credit on your card to ZERO.
