Just received a call.  When I answered no one was there.  I tried to call back and it stated it was not a valid number.  Blocked the number so I won't be hassled anymore.

Just got a call today. I connected to a representative and asked to be removed from the list. The guy on the other end proceeded to ask me my name, my age, if I'm married and if I'm on Facebook...really?!

I yelled and told him to just take my name off his stupid list and he hung up on me.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

Report your callers here, not just to the DNC alone:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.

The card service scammers   WILL   'service' our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!

Message "As to your credit card account.  I'm no calling about any problems with your account the reason for the call is to let you know that you're eligible for interest rates as low as 6%.  If you'd like to be transferred to a representative regarding your account press 9 now, again press 9 now to speak with a representative."

    Total scam.

Just received the third call from this number.  Wanting to "SAVE me interest on my credit cards".  Clearly a scam, two times men, one a woman answered, when pressing "9" to tell them to take me off their list.  All sounded foreign.

Obviously wanted my credit card names, my name, and numbers.  REFUSED TO GIVE.

Clearly FRAUD ... reported to FTC:

I have been getting calls from these people all month. I finally pressed 9 today and talked to a guy. He didn't know what banks I used or what kind of credit card I had. I already knew it was a scam, so I told him to stop calling me. I told him I was on the do not call list and to get a better scam going because this one was stupid. He laughed and hung up. I also reported this to the FTC, but I'm sure it will do little good with a spoofed phone number. I recommend everyone else that got this call to do so as well because the more complaints the FTC gets, the more likely they are to investigate the matter.
