I'm guessing Portfolio Recovery with a new number to add to the list?  How come the FDCPA hasn't done anything about these people yet?

I think it must be Portfolio Recovery. I get a call from them at least daily from a different number each time. I am blocking as I go along.

Received a call from them today. They left no voicemail.

First time call from this number. No ID, no message, must not be that important.

Slimeballs call almost daily for a debt that isn't mine that they claim is from 2006.  I have sent them letters asking for details on the debt to further prove it isn't mine, but they just keep calling and hanging up! Abusive tactics.

Did you send the letters registered, with proof/return? If not, all they do is put your letter through the shredder. Do it again, but this time send it registered with proof of delivery by return notice. Then do some web searching on your rights after that.

I received a call from 731-256-9337.  No message was left.  Don't know the caller company name or the type of call because they did not say anything.

don't no who they are calling my cell. When they call my phone doesn't even ring . Just lights up. Very strange then they don't even leave a message

Everyday @ 8:00 am!  I thought there was a law about calling before 9???  EVERYDAY @ 8 am!!  No message, no nothing.

The number is located in Jackson, TN.  I've been getting phone calls from the same number without any messages being left.....

Good idea to block or refuse to answer their calls; these are people who HAVE to do this because
they are mentally unable to be effective in life.  It's a real mental incompetence they're living.
Feel sorry for them; they have nothing in life that is truly effective as a form of behavior.

this number is a telemarketing phone scam.  Do not fall for it!  They will claim you owe money on a bill/debt that may not even be yours dating back to several years.  You have to pay them instead of the supposed creditor a lump sum to keep your butts out of jail.  they will claim there is a legal warrant and charge against you in your county's local district courthouse but you have to pay them and not the courts - oh and you will be arrested as soon as your read your phone message.  Listen up folks, THIS IS A MAJOR SCAM.  They (along with many others out there) are trying to comiit felony wire fraud, communication of threats, felony obtaining monies and/or property by false pretenses.  If you get a call from folks like this, contact your local law enforcement agency and file a formal complaint

I thought it was odd that it wasn't a 1-800 number. I didn't answer and I'll be blocking calls from them in the future. Thank you!

FYI... Can't call before 8 am local time or after 9 pm local time...

This number calls all the time,sick and tired of it.

Keep calling me, criminals. I paid my debt to the rightful owner. You'll never get one single penny from me. Nor will I pay one cent to you. Must be so tough to be such a failure.

Call just now looking for my wife.Did not identify themselves.  We owe nothing to anyone.  PR has given us trouble before.  They need to go away
