Does anybody have any details about this number.  I have my speculations that it might be the same scam from Luebaker and associates or something like that.  Please update this information when anybody can.  Thanks.  This is a scam because they have the same m.o.  I let it ring but they hang up before it reaches voicemail.  Other numbers with same m.o. are 8016182002, 7322183621.

Yes, its Leubaker and Associates.  They actually just called me, too.

Same thing here I received phone calls from both numbers on my cell phone.
The funny thing is the cell phone is in my wifes name and they asked for me. It is definitely a scam for both those number. The (801)utah claimed I owed money for a magazine subscription from 1998. I have never had a magazine subscription. I laughed at the woman who called and said "That's funny so why would you call my cell phone versus my home phone and if this is really a collection agency why would the magazine company wait 10 years to collect." She hung up as soon as I said that and I have not received a call from them since. The (732) New Jersey number didn't claim to be a collection agency. I had returned the call because I have family who live in this area code. The Guy who answered claimed no phone call was made to my phone from there and I said then how did I call you back and he hung up on me. I find it funny that they some how managed to get my cell phone number. They may be from the same bogus collection agency and it is definitely a scam.

I called it back and they claim that I owed more than $1000 for a magazine subscription, but they were there to help and not just collect debt. Says that payments were made on it But when I said I did not live at the address they had they said that they would mark it as being the wrong person and stop calling. We will C.

Same here. called 10 mins ago, didn't know the number, didn't answer, didn't leave a message.

I received calls from this number as well as the 801 number something has to be done about this because I am about to change my number because I am being harassed.

I get calls from this number almost daily and have no idea who they are.  The few times I have answered they hung up before I could even talk to anyone.  So I just don't answer anymore.

asked for a joshua brotten on my cell # that is a work issued phone.  i'll say for the sake of reporting that I am Joshua.

Called me yesterday and today, left no messages, but I called the # as I am in sales and working NJ actively for work.

I just got a call from this number. They've been calling me from their Utah number too. I don't answer and they don't leave a message. Not going to get sucked into this scam!

I was suspicious and didn't answer the phone but did Google the number straightaway and found these postings

Okay seems like most have labeled them correctly here. They are a scavenger debt collector and they buy old debts (valid or not)for pennies and collect for them for full value. They tend to buy old debts from iffy firms like the International Marketing Association which turned out was a scamming company.

I have received calls from 732.218.3622 and 801.618.2002 on my cell phone with the same story about owning a sum to a National Reading organization.  Whenever I ask for documentation or proof os this debt they hang up.  They are making more than one call a day.  Sometimes as soon as I answer they disconnect.  Getting very tiring.

some sort of scam, called and left a meesage with some young boy having a converstion with someone else.

This number has been calling me and not leaving a message.  I finally answered because I am from NJ and now the area code 732.  She told me she was calling from Illinois and got loud with me when I started questioning her.  So I hung up and then found this website.  I new it was a scam.

I've been getting the same calls, only they ask me for Jeremy Fowler. They've been calling me all morning on my cell.

they keep calling my son's pay as you go phone.  I just redialed this phone # and they told me to please forgive them for dialing the wrong #.  The girl who asnswered the phone was very rude and unprofessional.  Glad I don't have to worry about this collection company-hopefully anyway.
