calls and hangs up - annoying to say the least

same as above.  Phone # (732)451-3339, is a Pt. Pleasant, NJ number. Called back, man answered and said it was a residence. Caller ID says GSR.

Today at 08:44 AM Central Standard Time I got a call from 732-451-3339. Caller id says GSR. They didn't leave a message and I didn't answer the phone. Yesterday, at 10:10 AM, they called from another number, (732) 451-3665. Caller id still says GSR.

Did some Google research on GSR and this is possibly a Magazine of the Month (MOM) club from New Jersey.

got call from (732) 451-3339, they didn't leave message. I called back and number was busy. COuld be someone selling magazines from their home. I am going to block the number.

Caller ID said GSR, it was a survey on where I get my news.  None of their damn business, I hung up.

Received a call from a similar humber....732-451-3674.  Tried to call back and got a busy signal.

Got a call from this number. Nobody on the line, then it hung up.

Sometimes calls and hangs up. This is one of a dozen similar phone numbers he uses. (All are area code 732 with a 451 prefix, this is the Brick, NJ area.)  Only to call back later and claim to be a Clarke Berry.( not his real name )  Sometimes he's a private Investigator sometimes an attorney. lol. He uses threats and intimidation to get the answers he wants. He usually has a considerable amount of information to make you think he's legit, he's not. He'll says things to scare you into giving him information. TELL HIM NOTHING. He's a bottom feeder scumbag debit collector. He cannot get arrest warrants like he claims. There is no fraud investigation like he says. He says this to frighten you into giving him information either on yourself or a friend, neighbor or relative he is looking to collect on.  The NJ state Police have an open investigation on him.  The JAY S. WILLIAMS & Associates, Inc. Website states that Mr. Berry is not with their firm, nor do they believe him to be a licensed private investigator.  They suggest if you receive a call from Clark Berry, you contact Detective James Keith #5929, New Jersey State Police Private Detective Unit, 609-777-4882.

continue to get calls--hangs up and leaves no message. when I call back, the line just continues to ring with no answer.

got a call today at 10 am,but didn't answer,since I am unfamiliar with this number. they didn't leave a message, CID says CAPITAL.

Calls every day - 732-451-3339 - then hangs up.  When I call number back, I get busy signal.  BTW, I'm on do-not-call list.  WISH FEDS WOULD LOOK INTO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!

Rec'd a call from 732-451-3339; caller ID read Capital. Didn't answer and no message left.

Called at 2:45pm.  Left no message.  Caller ID shows "CAPITAL".  Just another low-life, scum-sucking, bottom-feeding scam artist.  

Caller ID said "Capital" and they called my business.  Doing a survey of how I get my news.  Answered the questions, they offered me a "thank you" of a set of knives or a gift card. I asked for what the hitch was and they said no hitch, and I'll get 4 free magazine subscriptions of my choice too!  Aha! Told her I didn't want any more magazines and she said thanks and hung up.  Hey, what about my knives??  I waited a few minutes & called back the number just to see if it was legitimate and it was Capital Magazine Service.

Our business received a call from this number at 1428 hours today.  Caller ID said "Capital."  Like "Another one' above said, a woman asked if I would do a quick survey about media. (How do I get my news, television, newspaper, internet?  Do I pay attention to commercials or change the channel?)  She basically launched into the questions without waiting for my agreement. They asked about four questions so I played along, then she started to say, "As a thank you for--"  I cut her off to ask if she knew she was calling a business.  That did not concern her.  I told her I wasn't interested in any "thank you" then thanked her politely and immediately disconnected.
