Annoying calls

Calls and, when I answer, they say nothing and hang up. I would like them to stop calling. They call only on Saturday's. I just recently got a new number.

Just like everyone else, they call and when I say hello they hang up.

Would not leave message on answering machine, when I called back it just rang and rang and got a recording that they were not answering the phone and disconnected call.

Either hangs up when I answer or, if I don't answer hangs up before going to voicemail. Calls came about the same time several days in a row.

GSR calls often but no one on the line due to hang up when I answer.  Very annoying!

They call, and call and call and call.  Never leaving a message and when I answer they hang up.

I called the number back and got a live person.  It is a marketing survey....

They call multiple times on our home phone land line.  We've never answered and they have never left a message.

They've been calling my landline and same deal. Since I don't have long distance on my landline, I called from my cell (blocking my caller id beforehand) and after several calls, I finally got through to somebody. It's some outfit conduction surveys of where we get our news, how old we are, do we read the newspaper. I answered a couple questions then decided to ask her a couple questions. She hung up very quickly. I tried calling back and can't get through now. Basically, the number that shows up is some kind of dispatch line. Once you call it back, it calls another number to connect you to.

Caution!!! These people are phishing for information! Bad news!!
