- Dallasman| 9 repliesI got my letter today in the mail and as described above looks handwritten with no return address, I did not solicit this letter at all, But I did go on their site and e-mail this Amy Yates and advised her that I wouldnt call due to its seems to be a scam. I have done some iternet searching and can find no info on this company that states it has 6 office locations around the US they are New York, Arizona, New Jersey, Florida, Delaware and Texas
- Caller: Watson Brooks
- MarieReceived same letter above from Amy Yates Phone number 214-932-0716 (Dallas). Letter postmarked from Phoenix.

- Barstow Bill replies to Dallasman| 8 repliesReceived a letter yesterday and called "Amy Yates". Talked to Cindy who stated this is a promotion for a local travel agency. I am in Delaware and so is the agency....Cindy definitely is not since she pronounced Newark as in New Jersey and not the Delaware pronounciation,(which Delawareans are very proud of) of New-Ark. Travel agency is SRT Travel of Newark, Delaware. We arranged an appointment for this weekend.("takes no more than an hour") there is no listing for SRT travel in local phone books, nor in a google search.
- JGSame letter with a local area code, 817-786-3340. No way am I going to call the #.
- Caller: Watson Brooks
- Call type: Event reminder
- MGThe letter came today from AZ with this #303-209-4159 for Denver. Knew it was a scam but wanted to play wtih them. Basically they want you to look at this "new business" but they want couples to come see/tour the showroom (maybe it's the direct buy company? off I-25 and Yale. I could not get details because she wanted me to refer couple friends and call he back with my name and address etc. She was American no accent and did give me her direct line to call her back. I may play dumb and call again.
- L replies to ClaireI received one as well on 7/21/09 in Texas. Said it was the last attempt and asked me to call 210-301-0087. Letterhead said Watson Brooks at www.watsonbrooks.com. I haven't entered anything and there was no first or other attempt. No return address on the envelope. They have a web site but it is very simple. I can't find any other references on the web and if they work with companies all over, you would think there would be some reference. Sounds like a "we just need your credit card number in order to reserve and mail your 2 roundtrip airline tickets". Screams bogus all over it. I won't be calling.
- sm| 1 replyGot, a letter today same as all of you. Phone- 407-353-6163 they say too call. You won 2 roundtrip airline ticket This is a joke they need to found out who this is and go after them.
- bobYES!!!!! I won two airline tickets. All I have to do is call Amy Yates. Sure.... The post mark is from Phoenix with no return address. I did not call the number but I checked it on white pages.com. It is a unlisted local land line phone number (407 358-6163). I located a possible address using the number. I'm going to check it out in the morning. These people make me sick attempting to scam others.
- evsame offer, same phoenix address, but new Fort Worth number?
817-786-3340. scam. letter is in the trash - BinaI just received a letter from www.watsonbrooks.com, no return address on the envelope. Sounds suspicious since no one ever contacted me regarding this as stated in the letter. Will not respond since it is most likely a scam.
- Dr. RosenrosenSame deal. Did not receive a call but the "we have attempted contacting you several times" letter RE: 2 roundtrip airline tickets up to $1400. Signed by Amy Yates - 732.676.4052.
If they are reinventing the scam from Lambert Steel to Watson Brooks, at least try to update the new web site a little better:
www.lambertsteel.com
is now
www.watsonbrooks.com- Caller: Watson Brooks
- Call type: Telemarketer
- sobeitgot the stupid letter today, july 27,09, do i look stupid and dumb, hope no one responds to this trash,,,,there ain't nothing for free, you dig
- Caller: watsonb rooks
- Call type: Event reminder
- TerryGot a letter today from Watson Brooks. I need to call 732-481-4573 to claim airline tickets or tell them i don't so they can give them to an alternate
- anonymous81Received the exact letter form Watson Brooks claiming I need to call and claim my airline tickets valued at $1400. I had to laugh because the postage stamp is from Phoenix, AZ but their call back number was from NJ!(732-481-4573) Not only was that a red flag, but the fact that Watson Brooks had no return address is a tell-tale-sign that this company is a scam. No other information can be found on the internet and no other links in their amateur website either. Needless to say, I didn't call.
- cg replies to Barstow Billwhat happned with this
