I would like for this number to stop calling me. It's get very annoying.

This number has called me numerous times and interrupted my classes. When I answer, it is just a recording saying that I have a "personal business matter" and need to speak with a representative by pressing 1. Then it hangs up on me.

My sister-in-law was getting a lot of calls from this number so I called them back. The guy that answered was polite and courteous, and when I asked why they were calling he told me the name of the person they were trying to contact. I told them that must have been the person who owned the cellphone number before my sister and he said he'd remove it from the database, and that it may take up to 72 hours but that we wouldn't be called again.

All in all I was surprised by how polite he was and how easy it was to stop them. Definitely a refreshing change after dealing with agencies like "Smith, Levenson Cullen & Aylward", who were downright hostile and abusive until I slapped them in the face with points from the FDCPA.

Get calls from this number 4 or 5 times a day. They never leave a message and I have had this cell phone number for 4 years. I have never given it out to anyone since it is my work cell.

I get a call from this number listed at Lakehurst, NJ several times a week.  This morning (Sat) at 9 am--sometimes I answer and just set the phone down until they hang up--I've chased down other phone numbers and followed the procedure to stop getting calls.  The calls from that number stop--but I've found then I get new numbers that I trace back to the same companies.  So much for the "Do Not Call" list.

Debt collectors are not barred by the Do Not Call list.  However, they ARE subject to the FDCP Act.  And that Act prohibits harassment.

I wish that Congress would make credit collector robo-calls illegal.  Those are the ones that call you and expect YOU to hold for THEM, or they call repeatedly.

They should also make it the law that they can NOT hide their caller ID.  Many of these creditors list their number as "Not Provided".

I got a phone call from the company and when I went to answer they hung up before I could. I googled the number and found this. So I called the number back I spoke with a man who was very nice and looked everything up to find out that they were looking for a Tammy person. I have gone to auto zone here in town and had to give my number to them and they also have her as having this number.  The guy on the phone was very polite and took my number off the calling list.

Oxford Management, debt collectors. You pick up the phone and wait 30 seconds but no one talks. I called them and got yelled at by a supervisor who went on a diatribe about her legal right to call me. It had already been established that they were looking for someone else. Their web site doesn't allow you to contact them w/out an account. Just an 800 number to call. I really thought this call center was based in a womens prison with all the sass, gum chewing, and bad attitude. Real Jerks.

oxford management is a debt collection agency. I am in no way affiliated with them. If you don't want them calling you then PAY YOUR BILLS! It's amazing the people on here take the money, then won't pay their bills and can't understand why a collection agency is calling them.

They call me at least 5 times a day, but never leave a message. No one is ever on the line if I pick up.

Call from a collection agency, manned by foreign morons, wanting my EX-son-in-law. I know they don't believe anything you tell them, but he really is my ex-son-in-law and he and my daughter have been divorced for over six years which makes me question the validity of the debt. All the heavily accented caller wants, apparently, is to confirm MY phone number. They call about three times a day and each moron says they will remove my number, but they don't. They aren't interested in his number or his mother's number, but just want to confirm that they actually called my phone number. Why?????

I got his and his family's numbers by quizzing my granddaughters which makes me feel awful, and I finally got the little hussy who called today to write them down. (Maybe) My only recourse seems to be to not answer when I see their number. This is a really stupid way to do business on their part and I can't imagine what they hope to gain from it unless they're hoping I put pressure on the ex-son-in-law. I don't talk to him and he lives five states away, judging by the area code.
