I received almost the same message.
"Are you available to repair computers and please let me have your email so I can email you all details of my request. Contact Robert Gates on (732) 210 - 7809"

The text came from 250 900 0912

I received a similar text from 250-900-0912: "Are you available to repair computers,please let me have your email so i can send all details of my request.Contact Robert Gates on (737) 210 - 7809 & ( rg757711@gmail.com )." [sic: typed exactly as sent]

Just like everyone else, he sent me 2 unsolicited texts to fix computers. I went ahead and gave him my email, received a classic "we'll ship you computer to fix from California. How much do you charge? We'll include all softwares." scam mail. I figure I'll bait him for awhile.

Twice today:

Looks like he changed his name to George. Thanks for letting me know it was a scam before I replied.

I knew it was a scam when I received the text message, so I ignored it for 24 hours and then decided to look it up out of boredom.

My message was different:
"Hello , How are you today , please direct me to who is in charge with computer repairs and let me have the email to forward my request . Thanks George"
