Called late in the evening and didn’t leave a message.

Asked for someone not at this address Could only talk to a computer,,,then they hung up,,

Called at an unreasonably time at night with no voicemail left.

Robot named Jim calling from "fallen officers foundation", I answered in spanish and the computer generated voice couldn't provide human or even cogent responses. Jim has been calling for years but never removes from calling list and never provides crucial details about his charity. Numbers used are almost always spoofed and area codes indicate they are from all over the country (same Jim with the same make-believe charity).  They likely get your number from the DNC registry, which is what the scammers call a list of verified and active phone numbers.

He said is a police officer...is looking for donations, he wants your credit card numbers...

scammer calling pretending to raise money for police.  total scammers running from an austin number.  calls all the time.

The man knew my name.  I gave him an excuse for not donating to the police officers.  He accepted it and was polite.  How did he get my name and phone number?  I am on a national no call list.  This is scary.  Local police said it wasn't them.

called my cell phone.  Don't know anyone in that area code.  How can I know what they want if these morons don't leave a message?????  I don't do charity over the phone.

Email stating they were charging me $499.99 to renew services.  I have no services with them.

Scammer sent a picture of an unknown woman. Asking for money. Scamming is on the rise. If you call them a scammer, they say no way.
