Got a call from this number left no voice mail hmm ????

Rec'd call 10/25/15 6pm. Alleged to be collecting contributions for State Patrol troopers and others to support their families.  I asked which States receive the money, which agencies in Ohio area involved or are endorsing them.  What percentage of $ do they receive and then how much is left for the agency.
Sorry but I worked and retired from the LE field and there are all sorts of scammers.  It would be preferable that you contact your local agency and offer to contribute to equipment, k-9 purchases or their equipment.  Ask which agencies they request $ be forwarded to in reference to a On Duty Death and how is the family taken care of.  Don't assume just because you get a call asking for your contribution that they get it.
