Number keeps calling and not leaving a message.  Answered and there was no one there.

stop calling.  take us off your list.  it calls 10 times in 2 minutes.  pretty annoying.  wouldn't buy anything from a company who harrasses people like that. 937-643-3034 thank you

Caller ID came up as Hopkins Electric. Since  we do not know them and it is an out of area code, i did not answer. They did not leave a message.

740-475-2715 is a spam call.....what happens is if you answer it that will let them know your number is a good phone number and then they sell the numbers-no one answer the phone or talks to you........Even if you don't answer it and your answering machine answers it that will let them know it's a good number. I was told to answer it and then continue to hit the ########## key and this will screw up their computer....I don't know if it works or not but it sure stops me from swearing at the call. :)

740-475-2715 Caller ID showed Hopkins Electric Lancaster, Ohio and when I answered they hung up on me. Tried to call them back, NADA. Looked up the number and Hopkins Electric and the number goes to complaints and the name goes nowhere. Added it to our blocked numbers list.

The number 740-475-2715 keeps calling.  No message, no one there.  When I researched the number, all I got was this complaint page.  I will try the ############# next time.  But tired of the repeated calls.  What good is it to have a Do Not Call Registry ?

They called 11 times today!!  Ridiculous!  I sign up for the Do Not Call Registry every 6-9 months.  Somehow these jerks get around that.

Received a call from 740-475-2715. Caller ID says Hopkins Electric.  A few eeks ago I put the following message on my answering machine........Hello, you have reached a number that is on the Do Not Call Registry and is not to be used to solicit business, money or survey responses. If you actually need to leave a message for someone at this residence, please do so at the tone..........I have to say it DOES make a difference on the BS calls I get. Before I was receiving between 7 and 12 calls a day from various BS organizations. Since putting this message on answering machine, I have had NO "BS" messages left.  Readers, feel free to try this on their machine. It works for me at least  :)

have called here daily, never leaves a message, finally answered. The caller ID reads Hopkins Electric, and they want to lower my Dominion Gas bill. Pressed 5 to talk to a rep--the only option give--and asked to be removed from their calling list and the person on the other end got kind of angry and hung up on me!!! Thought it was funny, but the calls are still annoying.

This number is Hopkins Electric, supposedly an energy supplier, gas and electric.  I've talked to several of their reps and they will not give me their rates until I give them my account number.  And that is [***].  They do not need my account number to quote a rate for me.  Therefore, I ASSUME they want my account number so they can switch me to their system without my permission.  One rep said she could not tell me if their rate was lower than my current rate without knowing my current rate.  I said, "Just give me your lowest rate, and I will tell you if you are lower."  She seemed baffled by that bit of logic. which tells me this is a SCAM, and I will never do business with them.

The number 740-475-2715 from Lancaster Ohio keeps calling my phone. I do not pick it up since I am assuming it is a sales call. I have tried to look it up via the internet and it goes nowhere. I tried to call the number back and got some weird message to go with it. I used a phone number that is no longer in use in case they are tracking phone numbers. DO NOT answer this phone call!

Call ID says Hopkins Electric.  I answered and no one was there.  Then they hung up.  I doubt that this is a business calling.  Probably some scumbag company looking to sell answered phone numbers to other scumbags.

These people call my home daily and never leave a message. The caller ID says Hopkins Electric 740-475-2715. After searching the net for this company, all I've found are complaints. They called today and as I was reluctant to press anything, I pressed 5 (the only option). The initial recording says its for Dominion Gas and then after pressing 5 it says something about the electric. When the girl came on the line, she wanted my account number, but I wanted to know the name of the person she was calling for and she couldn't tell me that. So since she couldn't say who she was calling for I said to put me on their do not call list and low and behold she couldn't do that unless I opted out of something concerning my utilities. "That "we" as a state in Ohio voted on." I told her I didn't know who she was talking about that voted but there was noting on the ballot for the voters, and she got defensive about it. When I called her out on the whole gas-electric message she tried to tell me that they call for Dominion and all the utilities of Ohio, even though she only wanted my gas account number (which she never got). When I asked to speak to a supervisor she tried to tell me there wasn't one available and there was no manager either. I called her on that too as I have worked in an inbound customer service call center and know the tricks. There was one there, they just didn't want to talk, or THIS IS A SCAM. After her over talking me for most of the call, she ended up hanging up on me because I was clear that I wanted to be placed on their DNC list and for them to not call back (she said a few times that they'll just call back) and that I did not want her to opt me in or out of anything. She also tried to tell me they have sent out info in the mail when I said that they needed to contact me that way. I'm so tired of these companies that I do business with selling my info to other companies, and these companies that are only out to SCAM. I can't even block these scums from calling since AT&T charges to block numbers from calling a land line. Makes me want to disconnect all telecommunications! AHHHHHHHHH.....SCAM call should be an option for the Call Type...This call is a SCAM!!!!

i called them from skype, and then called them again and again. pressed 1 and then #### everytime. felt good, but bet it didn't make a hill of beans difference.

Called within 10 minutes of receiving the traditional Card Member Services call. This one wants to reduce your electric bill.

No, it wont.  Pressing ANY number only verifies that you have a working number and will increase the frequency of these types of calls.
