I just got a call from a private number but they left a voice mssg. The Mssg said "Im calling from ( Something that sounded like the word WIRELESS ) regarding a legal document that has been mailed to me" " Please call the firm that paid for our service at 1-747-200-6057"

WTF!?????

Got a call saying legal documents were to be delivered to me for my cousin. They had my cousin's full name and said he should call and reschedule the delivery and he is being sued. My cousin has no idea what this is about.

My mother received a call from Jones Associate stating that they were going to sue me and that they would give me a couple of hours to call them back at this number to work something out.  They also called my x-husband a few weeks ago and threated also threated to sue me.

Just received a call from 314-925-3074, the voicemail said that a failed attempt to deliver legal documents has been made.  I need to call to reschedule to avoid more legal issues.  He was calling on behalf of ROS, and was retained to deliver my documents.  He gave a number of 747-200-6057, the company that paid for the services, and a reference number.  

I have no idea what this is in reference to.

I got the same exact message as wth. Is anyone actually following up on this? They left me a voicemail and also called and talked to my sister. How embarrassing - that is harassment. It is illegal for any kind of debt collector to discuss any details (including a case number) with someone other than the debtholder.

I just rec'd a call from 747-200-6057 that said they're trying to delivery legal documents too. This is my 1st call. I'm wondering if they just want my address. I don't owe any money to anyone and I'm not behind on my credit card payments. Go figure...... prob just a scam.

I have the received the same call but it was for my mom and she had a stroke and the guy was a complete [***] and was threatening her and yelling at asking why she didn't pay, so when I came home and she told me all the [***] he said I was super furious and called back unknown a Ms.Smith and answered and I asked what is your direction and what is your website and Business License # she gave me the address no website and she said she couldn't give me that information so the address is in Anaheim  California so I called the police station over there telling them the situation and if the have ever heard of that company name and she said no and it sounds like a scam because the guy who called my mom said his name was officer Gonzalez wtf would an offcer be calling about collecting and working in a law firm... so the police told me to call FBI and report it so I did and you guys should to so they can get more information ans shut down the scam so other people who are scared don't get trapped in there scam! go to the FBI page and it will direct you to the number and information you need.

That is correct and you can also sue them for giving out personal information to an unauthorized person, and for harassment

i got a msg saying i was being sued because of a loan that i had and never paid the thing is when i didnt make my payment on time they drafted the money from my bank acct and overdraft my account for the amount i owed so i know they got there money.this company jones and associates said they bought my account from this loan place and that they are trying to sue me for there money.well i made arragments with them to pay they sent me their settlement by email and told me to sign and fax it back i told her i didnt have access to a fax she said its ok take a picture with your camera phone and send it back to them with my signature on it what company does that? so i wanted more info on them i did reverse look up of the number thru 411 they said that the number did not exist then i called Huntington beach  non emergency police because the settlement packet they sent was from there and they told me not to give them any money or anymore info i made the mistake of giving them my email address but nothing else the officer i spoke with even said if they call back tell them i spoke with a local police station to see if that scares them...

Got the same type call. Since I know I'm not being sued I played along and called the number they gave me. All I ever get is answering machine. I work in law enforcement and am 99% sure this is a scam. Will see if they call again

I think this is Jones and Associates or at least that's what they call themselves.   I can't find such a company.  I'd say they are a group of unlicensed  kitchen-table debt scammers trying to  scare people into paying them something.  No doubt they've bought the debt paper at a large  discount and are trying to collect while being unlicensed.

If they are impersonating police or sheriff's deputies, they could be in some real trouble.  

I'd ignore them.  Block their calls.

"Unknown" number / caller left a message for "Christine Ellison" (that aint me!) stating that legal documents were attempted to be delivered and that in order to avoid further penalties I had to call RLS at 424-243-5802. The dude told me to reference "complaint # 130220-19FL". I called the number from another phone and got voicemail for Jones & Associates. These toolbags also called my wife on the same day but they had her name. When she questioned the dude he hung up. BIG SCAM! How can we prosecute them?

very similar, same people, and they had my name, what we can do. Worst I repetaed the case #.

Voicemail stating that my loan application was approved and to call them back to give them more information to finish the loan. I didn't fill out any loan application. Must be a scam to get banking info.
