This an IRS scam. They called twice, within 2 hours. Left a partial automated voicemail. The IRS does not contact you via phone, if they need to talk with you, without sending a letter first. Plus, they talk to you directly, and not via automated voicemail. This is clearly defined on the IRS website, www.irs.gov. Don't fall for it or be intimidated by it. These people must think we are stupid.

This IRS scam is one of the hottest scams going right now. If there was really a problem with your taxes the IRS would contact you by mail first, not with a robo call. These parasites terrified my elderly mother recently when she answered the call, but she failed to write down the call back number and then called me for advice. Thank goodness she wasn't able to call them back!

I received the same voice mail - this is ridiculous why people would do this......
